2011 MLS Season Thread

With Zak gone for the season he really has no choice regarding starting him, though. Right now we need Friberg in midfield and Rosales as a forward. Only other option is Levesque.

Best part of the game last night was Emerald City Supporters once again being badass;

Pescadito with his off foot:

Fucking Mehdi Ballouchy stole a point at Houston ... I fucking hate that guy (but Koke got his first MLS goal though).

Portland is now 5 for 5 at home.

I wonder how Meacon is doing ... he must have had a heart attack that Phila scored .... twice even :pervert:

First team to beat RSL at home in forever? Fuck yeah, Sounders. Makes up for botching the home game against Dallas on Wednesday. Lamar Naegle's goal was pure class, didn't know he had it in him.

Neagle is a huge talent, great potential. That strike was phenomenal.

He put in 12, in 19 last year for Charleston. He'd been on the Sounders radar before (in 2009 I think). He needs to be on the field for you guys. He's scored at every level he's played in from HS on up.

Also, damnit Dallas ... really ? Conceding the lead to 10 man Houston and assing up 3pts ? Uuuuuuggghhh

Vancouver Shows HC/GK Coach the door

Teitur is out, and Salmon is gone with him. Sohen (DCU) will run the show for the rest of the season.

Johnson gets the starting job in the net for Chicago again. I think that's best. Kid is good.

Also, wtf did Houston do to piss off the Soccer Gods ? Koke walks out

What makes it even more awesome is that Seattle had just scored twice in 4 minutes to take the lead and then BAM!

Also, Lenhart erupted for a hat trick, Henry continues to own the league, JPA remembered how to score, and Alan F'ng Gordon continues to rape his old teams.

Gaston Puerari sold to Atlas: Story

I guess Orr Barouch has won them over with his recent performance and Nazarit is the way forward (no pun intended) as well. Still very odd. Young, quality player just brought in and sold off. I guess they've got bigger ideas for that now free International slot.

Yeah, but this time we got creative in how we did it. Winning an away game with a man down, with Fredy Montero finally scoring a damn goal in the process at the very last minute of regular time? Eesh.
