Just randomly came across Sean Canfield's wiki article while browsing and this made me laugh

Coming out of Oregon State, he was considered one of the top quarterback prospects for the 2010 NFL Draft.[3] He was selected by the New Orleans Saints with the 239th overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.

Prior to being waived on August 31, he was competing for the backup quarterback position behind starter Drew Brees. New Orleans signed him to their practice squad on September 5, before he was released on September 6. He was re-signed to the practice squad on September 19, but was released again on September 23. He was re-signed to the practice squad again on October 3, but was released again on October 7. He was re-signed to the practice squad again on October 9, but was released again on October 13. He was re-signed to the practice squad again on October 24, but was released again on October 28. He was re-signed to the practice squad again on November 7, but was released again on November 10. He was re-signed to the practice squad again on November 21. He was promoted to the active roster on November 23, but was waived on December 1. He was re-signed to the practice squad on December 5, but was released on December 9. He was re-signed to the practice squad on December 19, but was released on December 22. He was re-signed to the practice squad on December 28, but was released on December 30. He was re-signed to the practice squad on January 7, 2011.

You'd think being cut that often would break the guy's spirit.

May as well throw some season predictions up. I'm only going to do team records, and playoffs. Don't feel like breaking down each team and what not, so to hell with it.

I don't want to see New England win it. But I'm one of the ones that thinks Haynesworth and Ochocinco are going to help this team tremendously. I'd rather not see Green Bay go back, either, but I just don't think Atlanta is quite there. As long as it's not the Raiders vs. Eagles, I'll be ok, though. >_>

so I was bored so I also decided to do a prediction post. went through the schedules predicting each game (as I said I was bored) and made predictions based on strength of schedule and opinion...

AFC East Team

New England Patriots 10 6 (hopefully worse but hard to say)

New York Jets 10 6

Miami Dolphins 6 10 (hope Henne proves me wrong)

Buffalo Bills 5 11

AFC North Team

Pittsburgh Steelers 13 3

Baltimore Ravens 11 5

Cleveland Browns 7 9 (should be better but not there yet)

Cincinnati Bengals 2 14 (going to be TERRIBLE)

AFC South Team

Houston Texans 11 5 (should finally get to the playoffs with an improved defense)

Indianapolis Colts 9 7 (if Manning misses much time it will be a rough start, Collins can manage but they have no run game to help him)

Tennessee Titans 6 10

Jacksonville Jaguars 5 11 (they won't be good, MJD is hurt and I'd bet on Gabbert replacing Garrard at some point)

AFC West Team

San Diego Chargers 12 4

Kansas City Chiefs 7 9 (Cassel is overrated, schedule seems harder this year)

Denver Broncos 7 9 (depends how much better the D is, Orton can do his part)

Oakland Raiders 6 10

NFC East Team

Dallas Cowboys 12 4 (if Romo stays healthy they should be good)

New York Giants 10 6

Philadelphia Eagles 10 6 (won't live up to the hype, Vick will probably get hurt and miss time.)

Washington Redskins 6 10 (better than people think, but who the hell will be the main RB?)

NFC North Team

Green Bay Packers 12 4

Detroit Lions 9 7 (should be much better if Stafford is healthy)

Minnesota Vikings 7 9

Chicago Bears 6 10 (last year was a fluke, Lovie is not the right coach)

NFC South Team

New Orleans Saints 13 3

Atlanta Falcons 11 5

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 7 9 (harder schedule than last year)

Carolina Panthers 1 15 (I feel generous giving them one win)

NFC West Team

St. Louis Rams 9 7

San Francisco 49ers 7 9 (this division will suck)

Arizona Cardinals 6 10

Seattle Seahawks 3 13 (lol tarvaris jackson)
