Well I got that one spectacularly wrong. Djoko looked a little off it but Federer was awesome from the get go, when Djokovic finally got himself playing better he still was a little behind Federer. Unfortunately Nadal has Federer's number and as much as I'd love to see Federer beat Nadal for it and exorcise that demon - I can't see it happening.

Li a set up already, good stuff. I quite like both, though Li is on par with Serena and just behind Venus as my favorite female player. She's played some lovely stuff throughout.

Schiavone just has no real response to Li. It's still been one of the better matches of the tournament even though it has been fairly one-sided, especially considering there haven't been that many errors.

Schiavone's fought back to a tiebreak, though. I hope Li doesn't get the butterflies.

Nadal fought back from 5-2 down in the first set. And now he's 6-2 in the tiebreak for the second set.

Federer fought so hard in that 2nd set and it wasn't enough. I can't see Nadal losing a 2-set advantage, despite how close this has been.

Agreed. I thought Federer's best chance to at least have a psychological advantage was when he was up 5-2 in the first. But now...

I was hoping that Federer would, for once, manage to defeat Nadal at the French Open.

Have to admit I thought the 3rd set would be elementary, maybe 6-3 Nadal, but Federer doesn't just give up in Grand Slams. I'm rooting for him because I've always liked him and never really taken to Nadal, and I suppose his style of play just entertains me more.

Roger's got his second wind. Despite that, Federer can't make any mistakes from here on out, I mean if he pushes it to a 5th it's anybody's game but Nadal is just so hard to beat in back-to-back-to-back sets. Has that ever happened at Roland Garros?

The crowd is intense too. I love it though, Federer is at the point in his career where everyone cheers him. Much like Agassi was in the few years before his retirement, loved everywhere. I remember watching Andre's last match while I was in the UK and you'd have thought he was born and raised right there in London by the way the people in the pub were talking about him.

Just checked real quick and I think Nadal has only lost two straight sets at the French Open once and that was this year. Will double check in a bit though.

I've learned to never count out Federer. I want Nadal to win, but I've been rooting for Federer to pull this back to level terms to make this a match to remember. Some brilliant stuff so far.
