It'd be nice if you could have an option to not have some fucking weird soft-porn light filter on the ladder matches. Or is that how they do ladder matches these days?

I had a weird glitch in the Rumble. I'm left in the ring, and Big Show enters at #30, so my nephew takes control of him. I sit on the top turnbuckle while he walks down the ramp - I go to drop down ...and land nowhere. The camera goes crazy, the crowd are making a noise, but it's zoomed right up against the tron, shaking. After a few seconds, Edge did the slide he usually does in the ring ON THE RAMP, glitched into the ring with one leg the wrong way around, tangled in the ropes, then we were both put standing in the centre, and finally able to play the end of the match. Definitely weird, but amusing.

How did he take control of him? I can't fucking do it and I'm sure I have pressed everything. It used to be select I'm sure. Now unless I select a guy from the start I can't play. When I get eliminated it gives me the option to pick a new number. But I want to pick who I want to be or let it play until someone I like is in the ring.

He just picked the last remaining number. I prefer it at random. We knew it was going to be Show beforehand though.

The match itself is a bit shit. The elimination mini-games get a bit tedious. I'm on normal, and it's piss easy to eliminate anyone when you get the button sequence game. The ladder match is also bad, on the whole. I like the retrieval system now (compared to '10), and the slow-climb later in the match would be great, but whenever it isn't 1v1, there's always either a spare man, or they just get up way too quickly after being on the receiving end of your best move. This is PvP though - not sure how it works against the AI.

I love the pinning game this year. Was it the same in 2011?

Just got the game today. Played a bit of Universe and RTWM. RTWM was good for a while, but Bragging Rights annoyed the crap out of me. My objective was to finish either Miz or Orton in the ring, but I couldn't tag out as HHH, so they just beat me up.

Then I went on to Universe and have only played one Raw, but it is awesome so far. Definitely happy I got the game, albeit it's early still.
