The whole team selection just screamed of "well, the lad has played in that position once before so he can do it again". Carrick needed to be in midfield, the first half was screaming out for someone like him to be picking out the killer passes. Park in central midfield is something we try far too much and never to much success at all. Keep Rafael at right back and Valencia on the wing please. Never been much of a fan of Welbeck on the wing either, just feel it doesn't get much out of him. I was half expecting Berba to be in defence again like against Leeds! We didn't have much options with the lack of defenders and midfield but we weren't good enough and just didn't deserve the three points today.

To be fair, no United fan has any excuse for losing to Blackburn. Their defence is more on its arse and they are dead last. So any United fans that try and defend their team tonight will be deserving of a good reality check :shifty:.

He went for it when he shouldn't have. Wasn't a case of trying to punch instead of catch, catching that would have been even more ridiculous. He just came for it and didn't get off the ground at all, Hanley should be credited though. Magnificent leap on De Gea and then got back up well to beat the defenders to it. And he's only 20 years old.. must have had a tough paper round.

Wow, Man United is in a bad way.

Yeah it must be awful to have one bad result and be second in the Premier League to the richest club in the world.

I'm hoping he meant in terms of player availability.

Yakubu is doing great, without him Rovers may have been whitewashed. I'm sure he won't follow them down to the Championship though.
