Chelsea have launched an appeal against Ivanovic's ban on the basis that 'Maloney is a big girl's blouse'.

Some on the Chelsea forum are (after saying that Ivanovic deserves his ban) suggesting that Maloney threw an elbow moments earlier. Not sure what that relevance that would have to an appeal even if true, but eh...

Maybe Chelsea are appealing on the basis of "if the FA feels Rooney's Euro 2012 ban for violent conduct was worth appealing, we can only presume we're within our rights to appeal any blatant/outrageous act". :shifty:

Not got any match on so I'm going off the Live Text on BBC, and they said the Wigan disallowed goal was harsh, because Evans nudged Caldwell in to De Gea or something? Either way, poor Wigan.

But City have remembered how to play again! Sergio!
