Dolphins got Steve Slaton off waivers. Good pick up, Reggie Bush has been pretty useless. Daniel Thomas has been pretty good lately, but Slaton is a good speed back compliment. I really liked what he did before in Houston, but after that one injury they were more intent on using Ben Tate.

What's the deal with players on IR and money? I assume they get 100% of their weekly guaranteed game-cheque every week as normal?

And I'm sure they get a percentage of their pay if they're on IR. Unless it's guarenteed money. That's my best guess.

I believe they get their whole contract if they were active for even one week. Pretty sure that came up with the Peyton Manning injury. His contract for this year is guaranteed because they didn't put him on IR in the preseason.

Dolphins picking up Slaton is a good idea, Bush is worthless and they could use someone to complement Thomas. Reggie Bush might find himself without a team within the next few weeks and it's something that might last. The guy simply isn't that good and is way too expensive.

Cowboys are dominating the Lions so far. Granted, it's early, but the defense has forced two three and outs and a pretty catch by Dez Bryant has us up 7. Felix Jones is finally showing some signs of life as well.

I was playing with my fantasy roster, trying to work out who was projected to do what, and I forgot to change them back. I'm starting Cam Newton and CJ Spiller! I left Owen Daniels on the bench in favour of Dustin Keller when I wanted the exact opposite and it looks like I'd have been right! FUCK!
