quick question, how the hell do I update my rosters? I've downloaded the one that was uploaded and updated on the 24th of Dec but can't work out how to open it or update my rosters with it... Any help?

Go to load/save/delete part and delete the rosters you have,reset the game and it will download the newest version which should have B. Davis on Knicks and Biyambo (yeah probably spelt that wrong) on Bobcats

I'll run it, but be aware that everything I run dies in terrible fashion, quickly. So if you want this to last, I wouldn't advise having me run it, but I shall if no one else steps up.

Eh, the commish doesn't have any big responsibilities in running it anyway.

Also, before we start this everyone should be aware of a few problems in the OA.

Still can't adjust sliders.

Still can't reset games.

Still no clear understanding from 2k as to how the timer works. Sometimes its slow, other times is fast.

Still can't see who is online.

Playoffs are still screwed up. The first game of the playoffs gets simmed automatically for each team that made it. Yes, as soon as the playoffs start, each match-up is 1-0 despite no one playing a game.

Stats for simmed playoff games are messed up. The boxscore shows players who are not even on your team

If we can all look past these problems or find workarounds, this should be something fun.

And how does this work? Madden is cut and dry. You play your week's game and sim to the next week. Is this just an open season where we can play all our games whenever (besides the human-vs-human games)?

What are we looking at for period length? And free agency? And all that crap?

Playoff stuff doesn't bother me all that much, because I don't expect to make it to the playoffs anyway.

The timer for like, the amount of time you have to play your next game? If the timer runs down your game is just simmed.

It's actually pretty fun, my only gripe is that you can't change sliders. But, that's something that can be looked around.

20-30 games? Don't really care about the difficulty or quarter length.

Quarter of a season? So like 20-22 games?

As for difficulty and period length, I'll leave that to those people who are more familiar with the game to decide.

I'd say keep the difficulty on normal. Quarter length would depend on how many games we want to do. If we're doing a full season, then I'd say keep it 5 minute quarters. If we're going shorter, I'd move them up to 6-7 minute quarters.

Alright guys I set it at 29 games, 9 min. quarters and pro difficulty. Anything over Pro the AI seems to have an unfair advantage, so this should help guys who aren't too familiar with the game yet

Honestly it's just like offline association if you've played that.
