Was just saying, I hope a massive bolt of lightning struck it at that very moment!

The Malaysian Grand Prix was stopped after eight laps on Sunday when the event was marred by poor weather.

The race had started amid a light shower, but conditions worsened in the early stages as Lewis Hamilton led team-mate Jenson Button.

F1 race director Charlie Whiting called out the safety car on lap six after a number of drivers started running wide on the wet track, before deciding that it would be safer to stop the race entirely three laps later.

This is not the first time that the Sepang event has had to be stopped because of the weather, with Button famously winning the red flagged 2009 race after the race could not be restarted because of fading light.
