EWB Fantasy Basketball

So I'm making this thread not so much to start a fantasy NBA league but to gauge interest in it. I'm hoping it works out and there's enough interest. I have a couple friends who want to play as well but there's not enough of us to form our own league. Depending on interest here we might have enough interest to form a good league. I was looking for between 8 and 10 teams.

Auction or draft? I prefer auction personally, but that's just me. If there's enough interest we could try starting a keeper league.

I would definitely make it an auction draft, so hopefully everyone is there.

I have mixed feelings on a keeper league, it makes it hard to potentially add new members.

Keeper league means at the end of the year you can designate one (or more if rules permit) player to be on your team the following season. An auction draft is where you start with 200 points in the draft and can bid on players, there's a strategy for auction drafts I'd recommend reading up on if we end up doing that.

A keeper league might be neat. I have never tried one of those before. I've actually only done one Basketball league before and that was when I knew very little about Basketball. I knew the guy with the funny name (Dirk) was really helping me though

I figure, since we have enough interest, when I make the league tomorrow I'll post the rules here and see if anyone has objections or suggestions for changes to them.

I've done basketball only a few times and never in a dedicated league, usually 3/4 of the people drop off by Christmas.

Count me in and ESPN is cool with me (I've actually only ever done a basketball one on Yahoo but I prefer ESPN's fantasy sites anyways). Auction is fine even though I have limited experience in it.
