I can move the draft, I was trying to put it close to Christmas for a lot of reasons. Most of us aren't working and the roster shuffle will basically be done as the leading two.

Your team will suck if you miss an Auction draft. I can always change the draft format too, we're going with too short notice to do this like the football league and have a draft on the board unfortunately. Next year we can give that a shot.

So this is definitely our main goal right now, finding a proper time for the draft and deciding whether an auction draft suits us.

Also we are currently at 10 teams. If there's continued interest, and you're a fantasy regular (DMN, Lowerdeck, bill_da_bill for example) I'll expand the league to 12.

I'd prefer an auction draft, but if everyone can't make it then it's kind of unfair.

Yeah I feel the exact same way. The baseball league was basically DOA this year because a couple people were late or missed the entire auction draft.

So how about we post availability here. Extra points if you non-East Coasters post your available time in EST.

Availability: All the time, unless you happen to schedule it at the same time as my other fantasy basketball draft. Although I'd probably just do both at the same time. Anyone opposed to me bringing on former FF league stalwart, jonycomelately as a co-owner? It will ensure my team doesn't enter an activity lull from February to April.

I can't do any Friday nights before the season starts. Any other weekday during the week leading up to Christmas works for me though, as does Christmas Eve.

I work Mon-Fri, 12:30pm to 9pm (ET) so anytime after that or anytime during the weekend is good for me.

Auction draft is now set for Dec 20 at 9pm EST. Hope this time works, and again if there's no way to do it when all of us are available I'll make it an old-fashioned Snake draft.

If you can move it like 45 minutes later I can make it. I'm just getting done at 9 EST and it takes me like 30-35 minutes to get home.
