The world was glitching on me and Cloudy a bit yesterday...kept on sending us flying underground...

That's been happening for a while,. The holes that it makes don't actually stay though - so just ride it out or disconnect.

And no, no problems but I never saw a save thingy come up on the screen.

Well that was disturbingly close. Was way, way, way down and it suddenly started throwing me downwards and I could see lava. Disconnected before it finished glitching though so managed to get out unharmed.

ETA: Also, TEOL & I now have a silver house.

I built the bridge over more and found another floating island - it was a bit higher than we thought it would be.

And you just keep glitching further and further downward like that. It happens when you're running along the surface, too. I can't speak for anyone else, but it usually stops for me if I reach a point underground where someone has already been digging.

I was trying to hunt sharks earlier (a task made more tedious by the server eating my bed) and had a goblin attack.
