My greatest success so far has been The Annihilator adaptation I made starring Ashton Kutcher, it grossed 1.4 billion total, followed by Abu-Dabu-Du which grossed 1.3 billion total, The Silent One, The Wave, and Mister Big which all grossed just over $1 billion. Incidentally, they've all been Action Adventure films.

The highest grossing NON-Action/Adventure film I've got is a comedy entitled Jesus: The College Years that grossed 827 million total followed closely by Suspense Thriller The Killing Hour (825 mil), Death Merchant, and Red Cement.

Damn. My first major mistep, a mystery called Chivalry bombed. But my two summer blockbusters, 'Bourne Again' (revisiting the Bourne Identity/Supremacy) and 'Superman vs. Batman vs. Spider-Man' (doing some films based on a Marvel/DC Colabaration) both did very well indeed.

Best time to release a Sci-Fi Drama anyone? I was thinking November.

Bumping this up...

First, Roc I need your talent file. That link you sent me is dead. DEAD DEAD DEAD DEAD DEAD DEAD DEAD!

Second, I need help. I ALWAYS lose money. The only time I was able not to lose money was when I experimented with straight to video erotic movies starring Mena Suvari, Mira Sorvino, Famke Jannsen, and Milla Jovovich, but really, it was a no-brainer that that shit would sell.

So... help me.

  • 2 weeks later...

Does anyone know the best month to release a western drama (think Deadwood. Because it is Deadwood), and a Computer animated Comedy (Family Guy the movie to be presise)?

I was strugling with the game for a wee while, because I had ran out of idea's for films (plus I set the 'game ends when' standard to high, I was never going to release 100 films unless I made a bunch of straight to video porn or horror films), so I took a week or so off, and have come back with some better idea's for films now - rejuvinated!
