So we're about 8 hours from the reveal event of the new Xbox here:

 

So many rumours have been thrown around: Always on, new Kinect, Blu-Ray drive, 2 consoles at release (one with a disc drive, one without), a subscription model similar to mobile phones, IllumiRoom built in and loads of name rumours although it seems like "Xbox Infinity" is the most likely.

Update 1: Expect to see EA Sports UFC and EA Sports FIFA at the Xbox event tonight (Joystiq/Digital Spy)

Update 2: A new Forza game featuring something called "Forza Vista" will likely be shown (Digital Spy)

Gametrailers is having an hours pre-show to build up to the show itself and then another hour post-show to discuss everything and, the advertising I've seen for it seems to imply they'll have a piece of Geoff Keighley actually at Xbox HQ playing the thing so...

Only thing i've heard regarding new games is the COD Ghosts reveal is supposed to go down today. Other than that, TK has it right. E3 is where a majority of the new releases will be revealed. Who knows though. Can't wait to see what i'm not going to be able to afford until the third line of consoles come out

Went past my local GAME today, they had their little flip chart board outside and I figured they were already advertising their acceptance of pre-orders for the new Xbox starting Wednesday or something. They were actually announcing an in store viewing of the announcement, makes me wonder how quickly pre-orders do start.

Today will be almost all about the hardware, E3 will be when they show off the software.

I say almost because it looks like EA Sports will be showing off FIFA '14 and the returning NBA Live. Plus, we'll probably get some Halo or Call of Duty tease.
