I'd be up for it. I quite enjoy playing online against guys from here. Online normally frustrates the life out of me playing against randoms who just ping it up to their 90+ speed forwards (usually Ronaldo et al) at every available opportunity.

I was going to suggest a plate/bowl competition for the teams who went out. Works for me.

Either way, I definitely see some kind of league/future tournaments coming from this. There seems to be quite a strong PS4 presence and, for the most part, good progress is being made.

Yeh I think a league could easily be managed at this rate. Similar to how the Madden league is run. Could easily split it into two leagues and have a sort off championship playoff between the two top teams of each league or one big league

I've always had an idea in my head where we'd have a big pool of players to draft out amongst everyone, and that'd be the team we end up with, leaving it open to transfer/trade them between us.

...but then I don't know how viable that is when it comes to using those squads online.

Ultimate Team Friendlies. Not sure how viable trading would be as a part of it, but seems the best solution for what you're suggesting.

It'd be pretty straight forward. Do the draft, then everybody just makes their squad, in-game with the transfers. Save the custom squad, load it before a game and make sure the online friendlies thing isn't set to online squads.

Hey, I'd rather play a game than sit around doing nothing but that is the way it ends up from the group stage

We could do a group of 3 and a group of 4 with the top two going to semis and a final but that seems a bit much for a plate tournament.

Rich did beat me so he should have 3 points at least, or I should get his 3 points if he forfeits the other 2 games.

Having a plate would help with seeding if we did another group stage to help balance things out. Mainly so people didn't get drawn into an especially difficult group like ours seemed to me!
