But yeah, awesome episode last night. The Heavy Metal stuff was hilarious because that's pretty much all that movie is - one giant excuse to show animated boobies long before the Japanese made it cool. The Elliot Spitzer gag at the end was really funny, specifically the look on Sheila's face.

At the end after Gerald was making his apologies he made refrence to different ways to get high, one of which was 'licking toads'. AKA Let's Go To The Hop

Licking toads isn't really a Family Guy reference. A common myth is licking toads gets you high.

It wasn't a reference, it was a mocking parody, to me that would mark a difference, I see a reference as a positive thing in that kind of situation

From the clip it seems like they're going to be riffing on people that think small deeds and that sort of thing give them whatever right to say "oh, I support ________". Can't really judge from the clip since it's 13 seconds, but I'm hoping it brings the goods - especially after last week's was so awesome.

Yeah it wasn't really looking at Family Guy in a positive light, I thought they were taking another shot at the whole "manatees make up random shit" thing.
