• Renamed Divas and Wrestlers: Bill like to keep the full names of all the divas, in case there's another women in the database with that name, also why use the shortened name as the full name when every worker entry had already a shortened name?
• Sean Waltman/X-Pac: the X-Pac character is a WWE trademark, so he can't use it outside the WWE, and he is under Open Contract, which means that he can appear in a indy promotion, and then he can't use the X-Pac character. In WWE he works behind the scenes, as a production worker, so he is not using his wrestler name.
• Jesse James/Road Dogg: He works as a producer for WWE, but he occasionally wrestle using the Road Dogg name, but considering 'Road Dogg' is more like a nickname (Example: 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin), and it appears as his shortened name, there's no reason to use his shortened name as his full name, also why isn't Billy Gunn using 'Bad Ass' as his shortened name?. 
• Reactivate The Shield (Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns).
• Create The Wyatt Family stable [Bray Wyatt (leader), Braun Strowman and Luke Harper], and add The Wyatt Family II team, (Brayn Strowman and Luke Harper), 3 exp.
• Add Bully Ray and Devon, rename them to Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley, both faces, rename Team 3D team to The Dudley Boyz and the 3D Finisher to Dudley Death Drop
• Hornswoggle, David Otunga and William Regal should be non-wrestlers.
• Add Brian Kendrick, low his overness to 60, Development Territory.
• Send Eva Marie to development.
• Add Jimmy Jacobs to development Territory.

Lucha Underground

• Rycklon Stephens/Big Ryck: I will put 'Big Ryck' as his shortened name, because he still can use 'Rycklon Stephens' in other companies.

• When is Dario Cueto gonna be added?

TNA

• Remove Christy Hemme (she retired from professional wrestling).

• Mark Andrews/Mandrews: same thing as Rycklon.

• Marti Bell/e: she is still using 'Marti Belle' in Shimmer and other indies, and she's under open contract, so she's using Marti Belle in more then one company, and she's only using Marti Bell in TNA, so is reasonable to keep the name she's using the most. Same thing goes to Mia Yim/Jade. 

• Low Bram's behaviour to 72 (he was arrested and charged of domestic violence and TNA suspend him).

• Remove The Rising (they dissolve in July) and the Beat Down Clan (they dissolve in mid-July, after Homicide and MVP leave the company) stables.

• Turn Eli Drake heel.

• Both Bobby Roode and Eric Young should have Open Contracts, they are also working for GFW.

ROH and others

• Add Austin Aries to ROH.

• Delete the Bram/Charlotte love relationship, they are divorced now.

• Remove The Decade Stable and deactived the team.

I added these suggestions just yesterday in the august stats update thread....

Josh Alexander is retiring due to repeated neck injuries. Make him non-wrestler.

Add Takaaki Watanabe lower midcard to ROH with foreign star gimmick

Hikaru Shida's stats are way too low for her, shes insanely better than her stats in the game...I also don't get why she is signed exclusively to Shimmer, but I admit i'm not 100% educated on that aspect... I changed her stats to the following -

Brawl - 46 Speed -31 Tech -54 Stiffness - 32

Rosita I would just rename to Thea Trinidad, I also upped her stats a bit. 41 Brawl, 53 speed, 46 tech, 40 Selling.

I added Luster the Legend to the game, to add the Reno Scum team into the game primarily. With them signing to Jarrett's promotion, and building up a little bit of a name more-so, I feel Luster should be in the game.

Stats in order for him- 52,14,33,41,42,20,57,87,92...Wage 9,000...heavyweight, Heart Punch as finisher, impact. Its the only thing I saw online regarding a finisher for him. December month for birthdate, 33 years old. I gave him and Thornstowe both metalhead gimmicks, and 10 experience for their tag team.

Ross & Marshall Von Erich should have a tag team, with anywhere from 5-10 experience. 

As a fan and believer in him being a pretty solid worker and prospect to watch out for - I added Jimmy Preston into the game. He is a main eventer in Chaotic Wrestling, Cocky gimmick...Lightweight, December birth 30 years old. Finisher is The ROI (impact). Superstar Look for sure. Stats are in order as follows - 54,26,48,44,47,24,72,88.89

Most of the WWE short names are actually already alter egos for them. Remember Tamina Snuka debuted as Tamina. Jasmin also already has the Jasmin name. That said, I would wait for her WWE name similar to the recent E hires over the last year.

Big Ryck has actually wrestled almost exclusively as Big Ryck since Lucha Underground.

The Decade should stay in. It's still BJ, Page and Colby (their young boy.)

I'd actually raise Luster and Thornstowe's over to 22 and tag experience to 15 to 20.

Chris Masters could be renamed to Chris Mordezsky. This is his name used in TNA and GFW.

Reactivate The Beautiful People as a stable with Velvet Sky, Angelina Love and Madison Rayne. Also Angelina and Madison should be faces.

ROH All Star Extravaganza spoilers:

Add Kenny King to ROH and reactivate The All Night Express. Also remove King from TNA.

The Kingdom are the NEW ROH Tag Team champions.

CHIKARA Alter Ego Spoiler:

Luchawiki lists Silver Ant as Tracy Williams. I'd add that as an alter ego.

CMLL Anniversario spoiler:

Atlantis beat La Sombra for his mask. La Sombra revealed is name is Manuel Alfonso Andrade Oropez. Add that as an alter ego.

Edit:

Braun Strowman should have his stats increased. I'd raise his brawl to 63, speed to 15, technical to 23, stiffness to 46, selling to 51, over to 61 and charisma to 64. His primary finisher should be Dominator and his secondary finisher should be Lifting Arm Triangle.

Kana/Asuka should have Ramen Woman, Super Reaper Kana and Tomoe Gozen as alter egos.

I fully appreciate Bill's efforts and encourage  him to continue as there is obviously still a part of the market who love his updates. It's just that there is an equal if not greater amount of people who want an easy to use, refined, and more accurate in the main stream database to use. We will try and create that.

It's not absurd, there are several wrestlers with shared names through out and cause problems with keeping up with the renames and pic renames.

Dixie was shared whether it was Special K's Little Dixie or Dixie from Dory Funk Jr.'s BANG Promotion (and to an extent Dixie Chick) Bill used Little Dixie for Dixie because he had alter ego and Dixie BANG didn't, despite ONE, Little DIxie was far more known and the Little was not used in years.

Drago is shared between a little known Drago from the indies, a Drago in AAA (the one from Lucha Underground) and one who now is Dragon Lee II.

Dragon Lee should be shared by the current Mistico (II) and the current Dragon Lee (II) but Dragon Lee isn't in the game (despite stats being suggested for him several months ago several times.)

Magnus was shared between Magnus Von Steele, Brutus Magnus and Magnus from CMLL.

Mistico is shared between the two CMLL Misticos (one is now Mzyztesis in AAA) and the former Hunico (though through a different spelling.)

Sin Cara is shared between the two Sin Caras.

Suicide was shared between the at least 4 TNA Suicides (Kazarian, Daniels, Kiyoshi and Manik) and a guy from the indies most people never heard of.

Super Nova was shared between Nova, Mike Segura and the Super Nova from Lucha Libre USA.

Tara was shared between Boss Tara and Victoria.

These are the ones I have off the top of my head.

Exactly. This type of chaos was tried to be averted by the way Bill don't try to add single names unless forced. Gunner and Murphy didn't have surnames in TNA, thus were needed to be added as is compared to NXT's (Buddy) Murphy who had Murphy as a surname to a full name.

I don't mind it, I just think the problem is who do we delete and when. People often say delete Sara Amato, Jason Albert, Finlay, et all because they are currently staff but as we saw with Finlay, within months of removing him, he was back on the indies wrestling. The other is what do we cut, do we cut specific nationalities or what. I could say delete the non-essential British and European workers because they aren't in the playable area of the game but someone else can say keep them but remove AAA and CMLL because no one uses those promotions.

The main problem I've had with Bill's recent updates (which I think is a time issue rather than something he is intentionally doing) is that there are a lot of WWE names that aren't changed when reflected on NXT television for months now. Case in point, I think Kevin Owens was finally Kevin Owens when he was on the main roster in the July update despite having the name six months before that. That and the lack of adds. I think I had several on the previous months that are champions yet were never added to the game.

I see. Good points all around. I tend to play long games so I don't use Bill's updates every month.

I was curious mostly because some of the earlier comments came off like an FU to Bill. That's how I read them anyway. So it made me wonder what was going on.

Nah its not an FU at all to Bill.  Case in point about the bloat...I have a 6 core AMD processor with 24GB of RAM.  I timed how long it took to load a new game once and it took just shy of 9 minutes to load.  Never thought about timing it on my SSD though...But still thats kind of ridiculous if you think about it.

 

Also the Murphy thing...since Mikal Judas hasn't wrestled for TNA for 4 years, couldn't you just remove the Murphy name from him and use it for the guy who currently uses Murphy?
