For some reason my horse is randomly dead. Don't even know what happened but I got done with a mission and it was laying there with it's brains splattered everywhere

Bit underwhelmed with online. Bit sparse but I assume that's because they only wanted to limit the beta to certain things. Has the same problem as GTA:O, I can do more stuff, more easily for no grind, with better weapons and equipment and without the threat of some dickhead one-shotting me when I'm fighting the AI, so what's the appeal of online over offline? I pretty much played online for the racing for about 80% of the time I spent on GTA:O, can't see me doing that with horse racing on this.

Offline is basically zero interest to me at this rate - and kind of resent it because I just want more single player content in the world they created.

I may have asked this before but can you accidentally skip main story missions if you go in the wrong order? I just want to make sure I get to do them all

I haven't checked yet - but I was told that missions that you miss can be replayed through the menu somehow after the fact. Only thing that is main story related that I can remember being missable is that mission where John asks you to go steal a wagon, and if you don't do it in time he just goes ahead and does it.

Is Micah one of the people you kill in RDR1? Because the only thing I didn't like about the ending so far is I didn't get to kill Micah

He wasn't in RDR1.  As you do the epilogue missions you'll wind up hunting Micah down and killing him.  Also, don't make mistake I did and skip the credits, there is a scene there that I missed

And seriously, fuck RDO.  A gold rings sells for $1.15, a can of beans costs $1.50.  YOu have to earn a special money called gold bars, but its such an insanely slow process.  Insuring any horse other then your starting horse costs 5 gold bars.  Coming in first place in a race gets you .02 gold bars.  Someone did the math and figured, if you came in first in every race, it'd take you 8 hours to earn ONE gold bar.  And don't even think about customizing your guns appearance.  Changing the metals on everything will cost 30 gold bars.  Thats roughly 200 hours of gameplay.  I'm already out on RDO

I skinned a bear yesterday after we got attacked by some during a mission - the pelt sold for $0.40 online.

My favourite stranger missions in Online are the bounties. Whether I'm the hunter or hunted, it's interesting. I recommend pump action shotgun if you're in hiding and they need close quarters to get you. It's interesting watching them come at you and be tactical with flanking and distractions. I'm enjoying it so far. Only had a two man posse so far but the rest of guys from work will be joining in tomorrow night so hopefully I have the $200 to set up the permanent "Peachs Posse (It's pronounced PESH)". Yes. That's the whole name if I can have it.
