Some of the times, the stuff is surprisingly simple. Since Android is based off Linux, its possbile to gain root access for modding. Once thats done, the skys the limit. Theres a file in android called the build.prop file. Changing 2 lines in that changes Netflix from saying "This device is currently unsupported" to working perfectly. So I imagine that it might be something similar.

Looking at the specs for the Xperia Play, its nothing spectacular. Qualcom 1GHz Snapdragon processor is pretty standard issue. Android 2.3 is rolling out slowly among carriers and phones, unless your like me and mod your phone so your running 2.4 or 3.0 already. The 4.0 inch touchscreen is also more or less standard, give or take a bit (my phone is 3.8)

So yea..it seems like once its available..someone will know how to get this running on every phone

And yes...I'm a cellphone geek.. ^_^

This guy knows what's up.

Although, I am curious as to how Minecraft would work on a phone that's all touchscreen.

This is the lighthouse I just finished. Not the best looking thing ever but it's the biggest I've built. Might use some torches and glowstone to light it more.

I've spent the last 7 hours on this... wow

It happens so easily... Although I can't remember the last time I have done a stint like that. Good times.

And @Sousa... I don't think you did show the final result of it.

That lighthouse is really nice. Well done.

I don't make huge structures, just alot of like 2/3 storey mountain top placements.

Been playing a game online with two friends all night, we've got a big intricate unit with glass covered walkways from mountain to mountain, we're working on the next one tomorrow, but we're trying to put the 6 big mountains on this island together and then to try and link up underground in the middle.

That's a fantastic lighthouse.

I'll probably put a video up of the inside of the Death Star later on. It turned out pretty okay. Glass is really ugly-looking, though.

Thats glasses problem full stop, I never use them in my towers, just open areas, fuck arrows, I'm a man

Virtual joystick (they suck compared to a real controler, but still do the job)... the best solutions i have seen on iOS are the ones were it dos not matter were you touch the screen, it just becomes they joystick right away.

Can anyone help me with creating a rail system?

Basically, I'm making my house in the sky...

5794138490_18cd9af8a3_b.jpg

and my mineis deep underground...

5794138510_18cd9af8a3_z.jpg

so I wanna make like a "stop" at the ground level so I can get out, get some wood or sand or whatnot, then get back in and either go up to my house or down into the mine. Any help?

The best way to do it will be to have a flat section of track before entering the mine.

Place a booster track(?) part way down but without it activated.

I think this should stop you. You can then hop off, go about your business and return.

Have a button next to booster, so that when you click it your cart will take off again.

I don't have access to a computer right now so I can't give you a visual aid.

Maybe check YouTube for videos relating to train station/stops etc.

So, there's six of us on my friends server, two of my friends don't play that much, one is hellbent on annoying everyone and another just wonders off and moans when he gets creeped on (alot)

Myself and one of my friends though have basically taken over two mountains, all have buildings flowing throughout them, and we now have an intricate underground mine between the two, we're basically hollowing out the earth between these two mountains, its a little crazy under there, but awesome, yet I've hardly come across diamond >.< getting a shit tonne of coal, red stone and iron, but hardly any diamond :(

you have to be on the level right above bedrock to see diamond in my experience
