Me and my buddy have been playing together recently, thanks to Hamachi and it being free. I gotta say, its tons more fun with friends playing too. Anyone else looking to play with a friend for free should look into it.

Works whether you're a pirate or a landlubber :shifty:

I clicked that link, but nothing was found. Explain in as few steps as possible how I can play multiplayer minecraft now! :shifty:

1. Steal Eddie's Minecraft account

2. Load up Hamachi

3. ?????

4. Profit

Everyone miss the 'free' part of the Hamachi deal? I could have a server set up for us to play on in 5 mins.

Hamachi isn't reliable at all and it isn't a permanent server unless you keep the server running 24/7. It's fine for quick games between two or three, but otherwise it's not really the best.

It´s much saver to just set up a server computer if you got a good internet conection. Problem is that Minecraft online is a little ram eater. Unless we have a total nerd owning all this stuff it´s much saver to just invest the 2 phound per month.

This may or may not be true, as I've only tested it with myself and one other, but I haven't came across any negatives really. Sure, you gotta have the program running for the server to be up, but when it is up, I've only seen it use around 50-60mb at most (or so it says), so it hasn't really taken a toll.

I'm a bit tired at the moment but tomorrow I will definitely put up a walkthrough for you guys to set up a Hamachi server.

Anyone have System Requirements? I searched on Google, but the only one's that came back gave an exact video card to have. Does anyone know what the Requirements are in terms of memory, like 32mb or whatever.

Please and thank you's
