I'm actually really sorry I made my original comment. All it lead to were a bunch of people saying +1. I honestly didn't mean they were an awful band. Skummy pretty much summed up my thoughts on Nirvana as well. They had good songs, but they are massively overrated by too many people. A lot of their music wasn't great, but some of it really was. They were a decent band with some good songs. I just really hate that a lot of people think they were the greatest musicians of all time because at the time they were huge.

Nirvana is ridiculously overrated.

I just finished reading The Game by Neil Strauss. Really interesting book. I actually read it for entertainment purposes and not to learn how to pick up women. In terms of teaching you how to pick up women, it teaches a bit, but I'm sure there are much better books out for that purpose. Besides, I really don't agree with their methods and dehumanizing women, but I do understand it works for them. It's really more a book about becoming obsessed with picking up women and all the tragedies that go along with it. It's about people in a community that want to be accepted by both the opposite sex and their own gender. And what happens when things become too serious and obsessive. Honestly, I didn't think I would, but I really enjoyed the book and recommend it to everyone. Just don't expect to become a master pickup artist when you read it.

Fixed. Griffey was my guy, but he squandered his chance to rewrite the record book. Instead he has to settle for a spot as a top 20 hitter. Kinda like LeBron Yes, Griffey was the guy, but he did not fail because of lack of motivation. He really, truly failed because he was plagued with injuries. I'm with Meacon. That was a poor analogy. If not for awful health, Griffey would've destroyed a lot of records.

I am so happy that Dallas won. It's great to see a lot of guys on that team get a ring, but it's especially great that Kidd finally got it. It took him years of hard work and dedication, but Kidd finally got his ring. I've always been a Jason Kidd fan and I'm so excited for him.

I agree 100% with you. I don't mind if they eliminate the divisions, but I hate the idea of an NL team moving to the AL. Like you said, I don't want interleague play all throughout the year. Part of what makes baseball great is the seperate leagues that only meet during a short period of the season.
