Gutted for Fletcher. He's come on leaps and bounds in the past few seasons and has a legitimate claim to being our best midfielder this season. I guess this means Park will get his CL final that he missed last year and possibly Giggs in the middle? It was just too easy for us today after the first ten minutes. Arsenal showed no urgency, no desire and it showed in the fact they didn't make any clear chances all night. I hope we get Barca in the final. It kind of goes against the appeal of facing the best teams that other countries have to offer if you are stuck facing another English team again. Plus, our games against Chelsea have been dull as fuck in the cup competitions.

I just saw the advert for the next episode and he says its the 'end of the year' so I'm guessing that will give the show four series in total. I would love a summer holiday mini-series though. Or maybe they could go and visit Patrice ... That guy deserves to be in more episodes.

I can't honestly see Terry leaving Chelsea until he's old and there's a replacement for him. I can't imagine City even being in the position to be able to attract the best players either until they crack the top 4 and players can justify moving there with a reason other than "well, they offered me a bit more money."

The good thing with the show is that the 'weaker' episodes are still hilarious. Jay has me laughing throughout. His 'OAPaedo' line was brilliant. How many series do you reckon they will make in total? If they go by a term a series then they should be on for 6 but that does seem a bit much. Although that is still only 36 episodes in total which could be possible.

I didn't watch the fight last night but I fully expected Pacman to destroy Hatton. I would love to see a Mayweather-Pacman fight. I don't know who I'd root for though because Pacquiao has been a big favourite of mine for a while but I'd hate for Floyd to lose his unbeaten record now.

Just watched it properly and that wasn't a penalty. I think Scholes survived a red just because his first tackle came so soon after coming on. If those series of tackles had been later then he would have been off for sure. Nevertheless, I'm delighted we got the win and scoring 5 goals in one half before the Arsenal game should be invaluable seeing as it will probably be a game where we will need to score quite a few to win. And Howard Webb is shit in every match not just the Man Utd ones. The CL match where he booked Messi for diving comes to mind as a prime example of him gambling with the big decisions in the hope that he is proved right by the replays and heralded as the greatest ref ever. I sometimes think that the FA only think he is the best ref because he's quite big and bald so therefore 'doesn't take any shit from anyone'.

If Kate doesn't win this series I'll be shocked. Between the 'coasters' and those that seem to make a mess of it every week, it's been a pretty poor selection of candidates in general and it does seem geared up so that whoever wins is going to be the 'best of the worst' rather than being the one outstsnding candidate among a group of highly suitable candidates. That's why I think Kate will win - she actually gets actively involved and doesn't seem to make any big mistakes whereas the rest of them seem to fail on one of these if not both.

Yeah I think my hate of the Getafe player comes more from the fact that he fell down after being poked rather than the stuff Pepe does after. There's no doubt Pepe was completely out of order kicking his legs first and then going for another swipe and then going after anothef Getafe player as well.

I was surprised that one of Scholes or Tevez didn't volunteer to take a penalty. Granted it was probable that Tevez was going to take the 5th one, you'd expect them to step up and be chosen over Rio or Vidic. Thing thing with Welbeck is he seems to lack either balance or composure when he's through on goal. There've been quite a few times this season when he's been one-on-one with the keeper and just stumbled and fell over trying to get his shot off.

All the 'secondary' characters they've brought in this year have been brilliant. The guys at the Garage, the girl tossing Simon off at the party, the paedo teacher and now Patrice. They should do an episode where the boys go to France to visit Patrice. The best episodes have been when they go away and France could probably top them all.
