I live in Portsmouth, and I'm willing to bet there will be some serious partying done tonight. I had to laugh last season, when in a fans review of the season in Four Four Two Magazine, the Pompey fan listed the season's biggest dissapoinment as Southampton avoiding the drop.

The problem is, that where the Scits have their strong players, like Max Evans, Chris Patterson and Mike Blair, there are players for Ireland, Wales or England who are better and more experienced. Evans probably would have made my list, but while Earls has had one Ireland cap, he's had a cracking season at Munster.

I knew he woudn't be captain, but I was sure he'd go. He's had a bad season, but I'd have taken him over Joe Worsley. The other suprise for me is Leigh Halfpenny making the squad. thats a big shock for me O'Connell is Captain as expected, and I think thats the right decision. He's been immense this season for club and country

Ye but Ramos spent a lot of money and did nothing with them. Redknapp has done wonders with Spurs, and should be nominated, along with Rafa, Moyes, and Fergie

I was a big fan of "Planet of the Dead". I thought Michelle Ryan and Lee Evans were spot on. I could grumble about the seeming waste of good aliens in the Tritovores, who just didnt seem important at all, seemed a bit of padding really. I was very disapointed. I think I laughed about 3 times in all 3 episodes. The whole first episode seemed a waste, They could have condesned that down to 15 miniutes and expanded the rest of it to make it funnier. I wasn't keen on the storyline anyway, but it could have been much better excecuted. But I did quite like the nods to past episodes, such as the whole "dispair squid" thing

Fake or not, I've always thought a trillogy based on Ocarina of Time could be amazing. If they go down the Lord of the Rings route and make an epic ongoing series of linked films, then it could make a fortune, but they;d have to make the quality consistant with LOTR I doubt it would ever happen, I'm sure Nintendo said they;d never let a Zelda film happen

I completly agree with this assesment. It annoys me so much that they think they're a good side and expect to be challenging for everything, when in actual fact they're a lower mid-table side and have been for much of the last several years. And I really don't see what Shearer is going to do other than placate the fans for a while. It puzzles me as to why Alan Shearer would take the job now when he's refused twice before when Newcastle we're in a better position

Just flicking through the workers, and a lot of the wages for young guys (such as Lesnar and AJ Styles) are massivly inflated, to the point where they're asking for more than some of the lower card guys in WWF and WCW. I'm in two minds as to which sport team to do, so im gonna do Liverpool and Llanelli Scarletts Liverpool(present) Steven Gerrard Goes without saying really, without Gerrard, we're nothing Jamie Carragher While Gerrard is the driving force, Carra is the most passionate. His performance in the 2005 Champions League final is proof of this! Fernando Torres He's been off form this season, but Torres is our biggest goal threat, and IMO the best striker in the premeiership atm. Javier Mascherano Gerrard asside, i think Masch is the best midfielder we have, the quality of his passing is awesome, and he's solid defensivly Sami Hyypia A consistant part of the team for god knows how long, former captain, always gives his best Liverpool (All Time) Alan Hansen My favourite player of all time. A quality center back who was comfortable with the ball at his feet, good passer of the ball and a damn fine captain. I never saw him play, but every game I've seen of him, he was class Robbie Fowler GOD! I rember how sad I was when he left, and how extatic I was when he came back. The best natural finisher the premiership has had John Barnes I never got to see the true Digger, only saw him later on in his carrer, but he was so good, even then. Paul Ince We shouldn't have let him go, I;d sooner have got rid of Houlier and Big Nose than Incey! Danny Murphy I have no idea why I liked him so much, I just did. Llanelli Scarlets (Current) Mogan Stoddart I always feel he never gets the chance he deserves for Wales because Byrne is that good. Regan King Quality all over, good hands and can pick out a run well Simon Easterby Consistant quality, and the team captain Matthew Rees The ocational dodgy line out ball asside, I really do feel he's a quality player Stephen Jones His kicking is often piss poor, but his overall game is superb, never gives any less that 110%

I ahte to sound really harsh, but i was getting sick of the whole "jades Ill" thing on the cover of every bloody paper. She couldn't even die with dignaty, she had to hawk her cancer in everyone's face. It disgusted me, it really did. Whats next, her at the funeral? family eating bloody flakes at the funeral?! I feel sorry for her family and her two lads, but she had no dignaty and would whore herself out to any paper or magazine that offered her a coupple of quid. I could never stand her, and it reall is a complete non-event. I love U2, but you did miss my favourite song - Sunday Bloody Sunday! I'd argue that Zooropa was a cracking album as well though, but I was disapointed with How To Dismantle and Atomic Bomb, Vertigo and Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own, it was pritty average. Still one of my favourite bands, the new single is a little....odd though
