    The Gossip

The only "media hype" I've seen is an advertisement for the album. That's it. For what it's worth, I like the song. I think it's really catchy, and she sounds very good on the track. That said, she could be atrocious in everything else.
  2. "Forced?" It says forced where? This is Thierry Henry remember, he's been injured since the World Cup and he pretty much refuses to rest, so no, he wasn't "forced". He was cleared to play, but everyone knew it could get worst. It's not a career-threatening injury, and Henry knew the risks but wanted to play. That was the most important game of our season, and guite frankly as far as I'm concerned, third or fourth is ours with or without Henry. Now it just means he is forced to rest and heal himself.
  3. As strange as it sounds, I'm kind of happy that he's injured. We're battling for 3rd, and truth be told I think we'll get it without Henry anyway, and this way Henry can heal up, rest and be 100% for next season. Plus it gives Baptista and Aliadiere a chance to prove that they're Arsenal-calibre players.

    Where are my balls?

Is it just me or is she turning into Paris Hilton? It's who I thought it was when I saw the video.
  5. Well done to Liverpool. Now if only Chelsea lose it'd be a good day.
  6. Bwahaha, I didn't know West Ham were quite that shit. As if it wasn't already certain, that just makes it so. West Ham are buggered.
  7. West Ham are just never gonna win a game are they? Not watching it but following the game report on BBC and bloody Tevez scored!
  8. Bob Dylan played for Bayern Munich? Mein Gott! I'm seriously tempted to get FM2007 and just quit work, quit my band, quit my yet-to-start OU course and ignore my girlfriend. Because that's what would happen if I did. :ohwell: Girlfriends and having a life are WAY overrated...
  9. It was hilarious. Baptista's starting to look like Ronaldo (shape-wise) which is very worrying.
  10. I was going to type out a reasoned, well-thought out counterpoint as to why you're wrong on many fronts. Then I remembered you'd probably just ignore it and claim it was anyone's fault but Arsenal's So instead :lmao: So what points am I wrong on? Blackburn fouling us all over the pitch? Yeah that happened. Pederson standing on Eboue's ankle? Standing, not stepping? Yeah, that happened. Ljungberg being brought down in the box by a midfielder playing right-back? Yeah that happened. So please, tell me where I'm wrong. And if you bothered to read what I said, I said I'm not complaining about the result because Baptista should've scored two, Ljungberg should've scored and so should Aliadiere, so it's our own fault that you got a goal at the end. However, that doesn't excuse the shit refereeing.
  11. If by "tapping into" you mean "kicking all over the pitch, then yeah Blackburn did that. I'm not going to complain about the result because in the end we could've should scored three or four. We were the better team on the night and had two penalties turned down, with Ljungberg's being stone-wall. The fact that Graham Cunt said at half-time he was paying attention to their upper-bodies makes me laugh at his utter incompetance. Freddie (unlike a lot of players) stayed on his feet for as long as possible because when Emerton started to foul Freddie it was ten yards or so outside of the area and Poll could've given it then, but Emerton pretty much just dragged him down when they got into the area, but Poll is blind and useless so whatever. The Aliadiere claim was 50/50 and could've gone either way, so that's acceptable. That said he should've had one in the first-game. Awesome goal by Benni, a goal like that deserves to win a game. Blackburn are such a dirty team though, and any of Tugay, Dunn or Gamst could easily have been sent off last night, but they weren't but shit happens. I'm not complaining about the result because we fucked it up, I'm complaining about shite referees.
  12. It's not particularly funny no...but he's fine. I like the fact John Terry owe's his life to Gary Lewin...I think he should repay him by scoring an own goal in every game and helping Arsenal win the league.
  13. Adebayor definately didn't touch Bridge - Adebayor went because you could see him laying into Mikel as Fabregas was having a pop at Lampard. It was in the background of the shot I saw who I thought was Eboue land a blow to the back of Bridge's head as Bridge was walking away. I loved Fabregas' headlock on Lampard. As bad as that itself did look, it was Fabregas trying to pull Lampard away. Shouldn't have done it because Lampard is entitled to be in there (and he was trying to break it up) and it looked very silly, but it definetely wasn't anything else, so a yellow was right. Not 100% sure why Lampard got booked, but oh well, Webb is a shite referee, so that about explains it. I didn't see the Eboue/Bridge thing at all. All I saw is Bridge writhing around on the floor. EDIT: It was Hoyte? Oh that's ok, Hoyte's awesome ¬_¬
  14. So well done Chelsea for winning the Carling Cup. Obviously I'm pissed off because Chelsea didn't deserve to win it (and their first goal was just offside), but people will just say we shouldn't have beaten Man Utd a few years ago, so whatever. Oh, not to mention the classy Chelsea fans throwing stuff at our players, but yeah, I'm sure that won't get mentioned. We were fantastic for the opening 20 minutes and Chelsea were just crap. There's a case for Essien to have been sent off when he studded Baptista in the chest when the ball was elsewhere, but it wasn't, so there ya go. Walcott and Drogba's second goals were really good. The power in Drogba's header was amazing, and the typically Arsenal passing for Walcott's goal was just fantastic. So does anyone know why Adebayor was sent-off? Because I have no idea and there has been no video proof of anything happening to Wayne Bridge.
  15. We're sticking with the players that got us there, so Henry is 99% assured not to be in the squad. Almunia will be in goal and probably Aliadiere and Baptista up front. Also Clichy, Toure, Denilson, Walcott, Flamini and Gilberto will probably start.
  16. We're all just trying to forget it happened ¬_¬ Prefer to talk about the FA Youth Cup as we won that game!
  17. It's not so much about him being shit on the right, it's that he's far more effective in the middle. He's good on the right as well, just not as good. He wasn't overly influential last night, whereas in the middle you always see him.
  18. God I dislike the majority of indie stuff as a lot of it screams of bands trying to be clever, but it's lumped with Rock so I've had to choose that one.
  19. Question about work permits; I'm Arsenal and have AA Gent as my feeder club. I've just signed Mexican goalkeeper Ochoa and he's been refused a work-permit, but I've signed him and sent him to GEnt. Problem is, you can't send players on a two-year loan, and they need to play two-years in Belgium to get a work-permit, so would sending him back there directly after he returns count as two years/ Does it have to be continuous or what?
  20. So anyone going along to the Grove tonight for the Youth Cup game with Cardiff? £3 7pm kick-off.
  21. I believe that's the "weird West Brom loan keeper" he was refering to. To be fair on the Arsenal game I'm playing they have both Kuszczak and Van Der Sar and they seem to prefer playing Kuszczak.
  22. They can rotate 25 generic French identikit players Well done to Reading though. I forgot half of my fantasy footy teams are Man Utd players and was chearing them southern lads on! Hurrah! I have absolutely no faith in Spurs going to Fulham and getting anything other than tonked though :ohwell: But...but we only have eight French players left :'(

    Spears Bald...?

    Natalie Portman > *
  24. It's Spain, they're all pussy's out there and players fall over when someone looks at them. Never a sending off, but my GOD did the referee have some slicked back hair.

    Spears Bald...?

Apparently she also checked herself into rehab but left a day later. I just typed in "britney spears bald" into Google...every link was to an article and/or photos of her front bum.
