  1. As Chris Kamara said, anywhere on the pitch that is a free kick so why have it any different in the box? Played a lot better in the second half and as far as I was aware there weren't many "debateable decisions" then
  2. Gary Imlach is probably the most knowledgeable non-American American Football-wise. Martin Johnston used to play for the Leicester Panthers, the American was a defensive lineman for Carolina, and Clive Allen was a kicker for the London Monarchs. All were very knowledgeable, although you have to take Johnston's involvement in Rugby into account. Granted, Gaby Logan wasn't great, neither was James Cracknell, but Merril hogue was on-form as usual. ITV's coverage wasn't that bad. ←
  3. Yet again United seem to get lucky with a potential goal not given. The worst thing is nobody has commented on it this time.
  4. Well he's a Canadian who grew up in Germany so by the exact wording you should think not, but having English citizenship should mean he would count.
  5. Had the misfortune of trying to qwathc ITV's shitty coverage so only saw the first 5 minutes. Loved the way Philly challenged that opening fumble to say the play was over, would the Pats have been able to do that if he had the pass away? Genuinely checking because I know you can only review certain situations. Saw the result this morning, expected the pats to win but it was tight. Next year old man Favre has to win it...
  6. Think how the Italians feel, a referee called Paddy O'Brien in an Ireland game, thats going to be real neutral
  7. Sothamptons away isn't it we've already put 5 on thewm at home Good performance, was impressed with Mido but if things start going wrong as they inevitably will I don't know if he's got the fight that we need. Having seen Davenport the last few times on TV I'm beginning to think he's not good enough for the premiership. Just doesn't seem able to handle the pressure.
  8. Maybe those Tottenham squads are rightly rated they just don't take into account the obvious injuries, poor management and occasional refereeing howlers that keep them lower. Over the years people look at that squad and say "this could be it" (even Fergie this year) then bizare combinations of the above scenarios hit us all at once and bam several losses on the bounce.
  9. Most people are suprised when they hear I listen to people like Marilyn Manson, Rammstein, Nightwish right down to The Offspring. Basically almost all kinds of metal right down to the poppier modern punk stuff. I guess people think I'm some sort of S Club freak, just because I know most of the dance moves
  10. The award for this year will have to go to Rammstein. Even now after all these years there show still leaves me in disbelief. Saw them at Brixton last night and the atmosphere was completely electric. It started with the support act [apocolyptica (sp?)] who were these three double bass players and a drummer who played a great set and the audience really livened up to. Highlights were there version of "Seek & Destroy" and "Hall of the Mountain King". As for the main act, I couldn't believe my eyes, I've seen them before at larger venues so presumed most of the show would be toned down. Luckily I was proven wrong as Till decided to place Flake in a cooking pot and attemt to light said pot with a flamethrower! Practically imposible to really talk about any other upcoming gigs with that and it'll tkae one hell of a performance to top this.
  11. The sending off was a joke, minor complaint for an injustice and get booked (why are referees seemingly out to get us, Wenger thought they had it bad....) before commiting a fould and getting booked (rightly so), even then we still dominated
  12. Hold on, this is in no way an infringement of the european law because it isn't 8 English (or who ever players) just players from the clubs youth set up. With teams signing 13 year olds from abroad regularly that means that there are no illegalities over the issue since they can still travel around the EU.
  13. James in goal? He's been consistently making blunders for years and really doesn't bring what you need a keeper to be to the England set-up. Look at it, we play a highly negative style of play with a solid back four, the organisation of defences by James won't help. Especially once he throws the game away in one of his infamous screw ups.
  14. Seems a fairly meh lineup so far. The good thing is these lists are usually way different from the actual lineup
  15. I had a similar set it was Columns, Super Hang On (the racing game) and World Cup Italia '90 though.
  16. One thing to remember is your practically London based. This should help get decent youngsters from clubs like West Ham to join you on loan. Graham Carrick did wonders for the midfield for my brother for example. Other then that just go with the flow, I suspect the board'll be quite forgiving as long as your not too far off the pace.
  17. If your at the very bottom Hornchurch are the team to be as at the timne of programming they hadn't gone bust and released all there players. I'd aim for Conference national this year definately then next year you shouldn't be too far short of the play-offs with good investment in players.
  18. Didn't like the G/F system but the plus side was it gave you a multiplayer option so igf they can't find another way I'll tolerate it.
  19. Actually because they tried to get it on TV Fahrenheit 9/11 couldn't qualify for best doc. How did Passion of the Christ not get best foreign language nomination?
  20. The movies. RTW expansion Thats all really.
  21. I've noticed the DVD remote on a few games too. Might be ok in something turn based actually
