  1. They only really react to violence after all, though oviosuly bad, racist chanting isn't a huge problem you can still play and if you focus on your game will barely notice it. Whereas when your fans consistently cause violent trouble everywhere they go it is only fair they are banned alá Liverpool. As long as it doesn't turn into violent racist incidents like the rather tasteless one in Dream Team recently then a fine is only suffice. Especially with the financial hardship everyone is falling in to.
  2. Very valid point with that one, another issue with that was that Carrick didn't fit in well with the 9-1-1 formation Santini used. I think now with Arneson and Jol together they seem to be singing from the same hymn sheet...
  3. I'd agree with your analysis, definately the fact it's too easy. Ironically though Enter The Matrix I thought was one of the worse recent licence screw ups. I'll also be honest and say the last time I found a game that was licensed and didn't horribly underperform would be back on my C64 and Amiga. The Batman game based on the movie had everything the movie did, you had all the major sequences in the film, you had car levels you had a batwing level and a problem solving level when you found out the secret of the Jokers make up products. The gameplay was great and because you didn't have the recent graphics and voice technology you did now they didn't try to advertise it as "Featureing the voice of Jack Nicholson!" you see so much these days. At least the gams industry don't screw up films licences only the movies do the same back!
  4. Is it still going ahead? I heard there was some dispute over one of the cars and the Oz grand prix was likely to be scrapped?
  5. With data now from the Dugout, take 15 minutes, thats ok I'll have it set up in time for the Forest game.
  6. Started downloading off them, decided to say fuck it and wait when I was told I'd have to wait 5 hours for the one without the data. I'd rather get a more direct download later then waste an evening trying to get a flipping patch.
  7. The sites been a bit flexible today, could have trouble getting the bloody thing online :'(
  8. On a related note how did Green Day get that big? They've always been decent enough with a few good tunes and nothing against them but to sell out MK twice?!? Did I miss something really dramatic?
  9. I'm the opposite, if I'm going to spend £x to watch a film I expect the makers to tell the story for me, I don't want to do that myself. By all means make a film that makes you think but at least give me a propper beginning, middle and ending.
  10. Spongebob is the shittist thing on television right now. The other halves friends had a go at me for not taking her to see it so they did. She said she'll never question my judgemnent again *recommends Showgirls*
  11. Mein Teil by Rammstein, what better song to put you in a badass mode then a tribute to a penis eating canibal?
  12. I'm all for a tribute to the guy but was "bodies" really an ideal track to be playing at a gig like this?
  13. Like a certain Camaroon international, Kleberson hasen't lived up to the hype since his signing. Although not a bad player, United should be glad to get rid of him in favour of someone else. Who knows, the extra transfer money could come in handy. ←
  14. About bloody time we won a London derby. I tell you what though we weren't confident at 1 - 0, thats when they actually tried playing for something and I thought they'd get it in. Sturdy but not particularly entertaining performance today.
  15. You need to know how to spot them. I got a couple from Blyth Spartans who within a year were £2.5 million U-21 internationals at championship Bristol City.
  16. Just been playing somne multiplayer Rome - Total War, won two battles lost one, the one I lost though I blame my Greek ally, we 'd set up a stong defensive position then what happens once the combined Roman legions advance? He bloody withdraws his whole force leaving my entire left flank unguarded 9/10 - flippin Greeks ruined it also had a quick look at Warhammer - Dawn of War, seems a good game, especially like the fact that you can "paint" your models for online play, didn't go online just took part in a campaign level. 7/10 - could be higher once I get more stuck in.
  17. I'm still shocked the only British team still looking comfortable are Liverpool. I'd presumed they would be least likely.
  18. It must have been in something else too. I've never seen Farscape.
  19. Do the under 19's still play at Stevenage? I know the reserves do and I've caught them occasionally but not the under 19s.
  20. Been playing this for most of the weekend, a top notch game something you'll love if you loved GTA. One thing hanging in the back of my mind though is this quote that came out. When my guy (I'm playing as the swede) took up a heavy machine gun platform he said
  21. Judging ferom Camara in reality, I suspect he'll be a bit of a handfull on his day but could well be a potential trouble makler if things start to go pear shaped.
  22. We're looking pretty good for the youth cup this year, remember we can always wheel out someone like Ziegler for a tough game It's interesting the last time we reached the final we lost on penalties to a Man Utd team with Beckham, Scholes, etc, etc and never used any of our players after that. These days I suspect it won't be the last you hear of most of these lads?
  23. It'll lift you at a vital point in the season. A natural striker is just what you need to get things going and few more consistent and reliable then a fit RVN.
  24. Don't worry, the British media are like that too... I notice however that the goal against United is being used to advertise Sky + with the caption "in case you didn't catch it the first time"
