  1. Starfox 64 was amazing, true. That advert was unspeakably lame, though.
  2. Yup, I can definitely echo the Danny love. He's the only character on the show I'll accept as a romantic interest for my lovely Jordan. Harriet is dire, and certainly the least funny member of the cast. Ditching her might actually make the sketches funny, but that's something which needs to be worked on immediately, since there's hardly anything amusing about the actual material they come up with.
  3. My mind was made up by the destination of Halo 3.
  4. Just to add a few not mentioned: Bubbles from The Wire Fry from Futurama
  5. Devil May Cry was always pretty much the only thing that attracted me to the PS2 because it was a relatively unique game, but Ninja Gaiden coming along satisfied my desire for the genre.
  6. Yes. Silver is free, for every 360, forever.
  7. Three people, I did vote for it too, you know.
  8. The Wire still to come Such is the power of two people in this list
  9. Oscar got 3 months paid vacation IIRC. Loved the episode, and echo all the stuff above. I liked Andy talking about 'personality mirroring' before he entered the office, when he clearly already had so much in common with Michael. I'm not a Jim fan in particular, but the storyline might be interesting. Pam and Karen are both great, so whatever happens it should be interesting. I hope the influx of new characters doesn't take anything away from the star of the show, Dwight.
  10. Dude, play System Shock 2. Closed I've ever come to pissing my pants
  11. There's no point this being a thread about games we don't like ... just things we have to put up with and don't want with. You don't have to play games you don't want to.
  12. This is the answer: 5) Zooey Deschanel 4) Amanda Peet 3) Kristin Bell 2) Jessica Alba 1) Natalie Portman
  13. FM doesn't have the rule where games are abandoned after a certain number of red cards, by the way.
  14. So many things that I agree with in this thread that I don't have much to add, but... Games with large online communities that are expected to act as testers for the game. Now, I love FM, but the latest iteration has gone absolutely too far with the pervasion of bugs. If the game had a smaller market, a game released in the same state as FM would be panned. From the stupidly obvious bugs (Rooney's international ban) to frequent fatal exceptions, across-the-board player history corruptions, a completely flawed new player generation system, a match engine which allows a ball to stop and change direction in mid-air, and players that stand still for 30-40 seconds at a time, to incredibly poor grammar and spelling in the new media messages - FM07 is a mess. I'm sure the fact that I play the game obsessively contributes to the fact that I get pissed off when something crops up that throws my invested time out the window. Yes, this wall all prompted by my 5-season game having the player histories corrupted. Grrrr.
  15. 1) The Wire 2) Arrested Development 3) Lost 4) Veronica Mars 5) Scrubs 6) Weeds 7) The Office (UK) 8) Futurama 9) Blackadder 10) Spaced
  16. When I first watched a random episode on the BBC late at night, I just didn't get into it at all. Then I watched the first episode and just couldn't stop. Now it is DEFINITELY the best comedy series ever, for me. I also can't stand Everybody Loves Raymond. My sister was obsessed with it and it almost drove me to suicide I can't think of any sitcom-style comedy that I actually enjoy. Friends was redeemed only by its good characters. I hate Frasier with a passion, and Curb Your Enthusiasm likewise, for the overflow of astonishingly unperceptive characters. I love The Office, the British version. The American version is good too, but it's also tarred by 'improbably stupid characters in a realistic environment' factor.
  17. Instinctively I suspect that Jacob's eye-patch man, but I also like the possibility that there's another spy in the Losties camp. We haven't had flashbacks for Paolo yet, but if it's him that's just horribly crude writing. If a more-established character was revealed to be a complete liar, that would be awesome. I'm hoping there's a significant escalation in the conflict between the beach Losties and the Others before we finally find out the latter's agenda, so this could certainly play into that idea.
  18. Wouldn't have had Perry and Peet though, most probably.
  19. As I said already - Hiro and his friend, and the promise that there will be an interesting explanation as to why they all have their powers and keep co-incidentally meeting.
  20. I just didn't care about this episode at all. I don't care about wives in wheelchairs. I don't care about Greg Grunberg's wife cheating on him. I don't care about dangeroudly lackadaisical police officers investigating sites of lethal radiation. I care about Hiro! Ali Larter on screen makes me want to kill myself. Couldn't they have hired an actor?
  21. I know, but it's good, honest. I hate Living in principle so I don't watch it on there. I Legally Acquire it instead. A crusade, if you will
