  1. I'll admit, I was always a bigger fan of Leno than Conan but when the entire NBC fiasco went down I really began getting into his material. Following over the Summer really made this first episode a must see for me and after watching it I'll be back for sure. I enjoyed pretty much everything, especially the "that's what I left NBC" joke.
  2. Didn't have time to dig up the old topic. Conan's on, let's go watch.
  3. This is actually going on a couple of months old, but I found it pretty hilarious. Seems like the interviewer really ticked off Griffin. Link: Didn't feel like another double post so, I'll just edit this in. Random yet awesomely incoherent tweet from Wanderlei just now:
  4. Anyone have any idea how reliable this MiddleEasy.com website is? They're reporting that Matt Mitrione could be heading to WWE within the next year.
  5. -Recently cut Gabe Gonzaga is talking about retirement. He has a video and a couple of tweets mentioning that he might became a full time trainer. -In bigger news, Bellator is officially without a television deal for season 4. Rebney has been giving away his personally shares of the company to investors to avoid them pulling the plug on the promotion.
  6. I'm gonna be jumping back into this for the next even more than likely.
  7. Lesnar would never coach TUF, he's stated it before. He is too private of a person. He is on screen when it is time to perform and then when performing is over he's away from the spotlight as much as possible.
  8. I'd actually put my money on Nelson if he fought Lesnar. Not because of where I stand as fan, but because Nelson has really heavy hands, decent cardio and isn't easy to take down by any means. Brock doesn't respond well to getting hit and Nelson isn't scared to take punch to give a punch.
  9. To his credit, sometimes tone versus text does get a little mumbled. That said, even I can recognize that nothing to do with Cecil is ever to be taking seriously. Unless we're discussing his ignorance. Powerhart, first rule of being a mixed martial arts fan on the internet: discredit Peoples at every given opportunity in the smarkiest way possible. Think of him as MMA's 2002/03 Triple H.
  10. So the Redskins bench McNabb and run tryouts with JaMarcus Russell. Rex Grossman might be looking like saint in Washington.
  11. http://dontbescaredhomie.com/ This fight NEEDS to happen.
  12. And he threw everything at Fedor - that wasn't anything to do with him personally. It was Finkeldouche.
  13. It's being reported that UFC's first Featherweight fight will between Leonard Garcia and Tyler Toner on Dec. 4 @ the TUF finale. I find it interesting as it's actually before the final WEC event. Dana wasn't exaggerating when he said it would be taking place immediately.
  14. Cro Cop is offering to step in for Carwin so that could be a possibility.
  15. I'm pulling for Cain because I'm ready for the Brock over hype to stop. At the same time a small part of me wants to see Brock win so that I can watch JDS knock him out. I'm most excited about Stout/Taylor and Cote/Lawlor (although I want Cote & Lawlor both to win so it'll be bittersweet).
  16. I'm betting that he won't. First he was arrested on 'suspicion' of DUI, but no one is reporting what the supposed intoxicant was. From reading it seems the bigger issue is/was the lack of insurance and drivers license (and possible street racing). Go back to Rampage's highly media blasted incident and this seems like a blip, at most, on the radar.
  17. ..Aaaannndddd here we go again: Source: Sherdog We've seen how this road goes before so hopefully it isn't a falling off the bandwagon. I'll never support driving under the influence, but hopefully this was just a one off incident without all of the details out yet. He's got a good thing going for him right now. Mugshot doesn't really look all that jacked up though:
  18. The Jackson/Robinson hit really looks as if both of their heads snap due to the angle of the hit more than an intentional head collision.
  19. Just when I thought Couture's low single on Toney couldn't be topped. That is surely beautiful.
  20. 1. Robin Williams 2. George Carlin 3. Katt Williams 4. Gabriel Iglesias 5. Dane Cook 6. Lewis Black 7. Chris Rock 8. Russell Peters 9. Bob Newhart 10. Rodney Dangerfield
  21. "Them Boys" - Brantley Gilbert Not sure how to embed, but gave it a listen a little while ago and l've found myself listening to it quite a bit since the initial hearing. Pretty good if you can get into the style.
