  1. This. I want this to happen. As much as I have steered away from being a Brock fan I would watch a month of Brock fly fishing as long as the octagon was waterside and he shouted out cornering advice between cast. I'm not sure how Brock fits in as JDS' opponent though. I don't see him being able to beat Dos Santos. Junior has the ability to out strike Lesnar and if it goes to the ground I honestly believe that his BJJ, under Big Nog and A. Silva, will be able to pose a major threat to the wrestling.
  2. I'm hoping they put the WEC Lightweight title on the line between Guida/Pettis and then have the winner fight Edgar/Maynard winner.
  3. Looks like Guida/Pettis will take place later this year as well (130 or 131 possibly). Florian is/was campaigning for the Pettis fight himself.
  4. I could see Jones/Bader winner looking at Rampage/Silva winner depending on the outcome of Machida/Couture. Toss in that MMAJunkie is now reporting Phil Davis/Matt Hamill for UFC129 and Franklin/Griffin already on tap the 205 division is looking more interesting in the upcoming months.
  5. I was going to bring up Lavar actually. I'd like to see him work his way up and be able to hang once he gets there.
  6. Since it applies here: http://www.lakeoswegoreview.com/news/story.php?story_id=129410490911120000 Just one of the sources.
  7. Just broke down and good Jockamo Pizza and now I want to try the

    Cheese Louis. Thanks for that.

  8. I thought that's what the event discussion thread was? I remember we had the whole issue against this with the Super Bowl issue so stuff was supposed to stay out of the news threads and status updates now?
  9. I have been thinking about going back to school recently and want to pursue something film related. I have always wanted to be more of writer and director but it seems as if most of the schooling focuses on production. So would something such as as Associates of Applied Arts focusing on Visual Arts & Film Specialization still be a wise choice?
  10. Waiting on Dynamite!! 2010

  11. Chuck Liddell is offically retired and now the UFC Vice President of Business Development. Even with his recent skid a final record of 21-8 isn't that bad.
  12. Will there be a discussion thread for this down the road? I am curious as to how Anderson Silva and Ben Roethlisberger top #1 on JohnnyPerfect's list. Ben is there simply because the Steelers are the main team I follow in NFL and I don't get to see enough of everything else, it's hard enough watching them on a weekly basis. Could of left that section blank, but decided not to. Silva is there because he's the best fighter on the planet in my opinion and had one of the top fights with Sonnen (beat Maia and broke the record in the process too). Again, this is a list of peoples opinions. Nothing is a fact. If we all put down the same people then what would be the point? If everybody disagrees with those two, then no worries, because they'll get no more votes and wont make the list. Acknowledged. However, once this is closes I fully plan to retort completely. Not to be a dick, but for debate sake.

  14. At the same time, while Duffee is already in Japan, it's not even sure he'll be able to obtain a visa in order to fight.
  15. I've been thinking of doing something of this sort: But with actual real life footage as well as scripted footage mixed and integrated together. If the idea is something that interest you then take it and run with it by all means.
  16. Baseball: Cliff Lee MMA: 1. Ben Askren: Solidified himself as probably the top welterweight prospect in the sport at this time. Four victories, a tournament and a championship to his resume within 2010. 2. Chris Lytle: Put on three of the most impressive performances of his career which have taken him from 'career gatekeeper' to within title contention. 3. Chris Leben: Rebounded from failed drug test controversy and a poor showing upon his return in 2009 with three solid victories in 2010. One of which derailed a top touted contender and another which broke his opponents undefeated run. Eying title contention within a single fight. One of the most exciting and talk about fighters of 2010 with the Sexyama submission in the running for upset and submission of year by many. While I juggled the idea of a number of big names in the MMA category I think the best stuff truly came from the those outside of the title scenes this year. Obviously this is just my personal opinion of how I viewed the sport and is in no way meant to discredit the accomplishments of those fighters.
  17. I would give my left testicle to see Andrei miraculously knock out Overeem.
  18. I like Overeem, or should I say, the idea of what Overeem is these days, but part of me would love to see face Pudz and lose via freak KO. 9/10 times I hate to watch a fighter take a loss, but the guy is becoming Fedor Jr. and it's just not appealing.
  19. HDNet is now apparently reporting that it's not happening. Welcome to the clusterfuck that his second level MMA.
  20. The fight is very unlikely to happen. Coleman is apparently campaigning for the fight as Lashley isn't interested anymore (supposedly). EDIT* Interestingly enough, MiddleEasy is reporting in the "rumor mill": Honestly, I'd rather see Sergei get the fight.
  21. Eh, Kos a better chance than the most of GSP's recent opponents. If Kos is able to keep it standing I'd put it in his direction. Probably closer of a fight than most people are calling it as. Still see GSP coming out on top though, but not ruling Kos out at all.
  22. TheRyno IIRC, whatever his name was, he did Era of The Advisor or something like that, was a decent long term WWE game. Ah yes, thank you!
  23. You're like 4 1/2 hours away from me. Skip the wrestling school and let's hit Spring Break this year like suggested. >_>
