Not a fan of the damage criteria, could potentially set the sport back if the rules are successful and eventually adopted. It's hard enough getting it sanctioned as it is. Even worse it would just feed the "look at his face after the fight, he totally lost" trolls that wouldn't understand the concept.

Screw this game. Got my serial, put in hours of game time while being down sick, saved regularly and when I went to load it up just now - nothing. None of my saved data was there.

I tried starting a thread for Terriers awhile back, but nothing seemed to come of it so I'll post here about it: I'm still thinking this show is amazing. A slow episode here or there but last week was really good. Completely solid episode that has me legit pumped for tonights show. It's such a shame that it's sitting on the edge of renewal due to ratings. It's a great show that could benefit from even 1/3 of the marketing that Sons' is getting.

Wahlberg is an interesting choice, but I like it. He's been great in pretty much everything he's done so I can only wait and see how this will turn out. Especially if DeNiro and Pesci end up cast alongside him.

The time issue may have cost Harris his job. Had he lost in the first round he probably would have been given another prelim or UFN chance and worked his way up, but instead he put up three full rounds of nothing which soured him overall. Getting finished in the first might have faired better for him in the long run rather than taking up time and doing nothing, especially during that last round. Dana has openly said it's about the exciting fighters, not the ones that just stand there.

From the outside looking in it seems like Sotiropoulos is facing the marketing issue. Casual fans started getting behind Siver after they saw his nasty spinning back kick finish. For some reason Sotiropoulos just isn't catching on like a fighter with is record should be. He can finish opponents but is missing some key element in exposure. My own thinking here, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Siver/Sotiropoulos fight was to give the casual fans a chance to see Sotiropoulos possibly pick up a victory over an opponent with 'devastating striking' as they refer to his signature kick as. Strikers push the sport on the casual fan and I could see this being the fight to elevate him from mid tier to upper echelon with a victory. That's how I am personally viewing the fight from a business standpoint. Outside of the marketing needed to build him up, I am 100% behind the idea that someone on a 7-0 streak deserves a title shot. Sadly he's racked up his wins seemingly under the radar and while he deserves a chance it would leave most non-hardcore viewers asking "who is this guy?".

I have to use a wire adapter for one of my wireless 360 controllers because I got frustrated with lagswitchers on Halo and slammed the back of it against my fist, but that's the furthest it's ever gone. I just finished watching this and absolutely loved it. Having not read the novels I was a little "WTF" at first, but I enjoy different things like that. Absolutely brilliant all the way through. I will now force my 'too good for different'-esque friends to sit through this.
