Yeah I get that but would it be possible to do it in the game? Without creating every event manually? With an automatic monthly setting we would see those events frequently. I think the idea is that since it's not currently happening in real life, and isn't in the plans to do monthly for NXT, adding a monthly special would be counter active to the realism aspect of the data. However, if you wanted to you could easily edit that in yourself and it would happen.

Despite poor reviews and skepticism from everyone, I still went and bought this on Friday. Have been playing Hockey Ultimate Team exclusively and have thoroughly enjoyed the game thus far. Yeah, it's not perfect by any means but neither were many of the other games I played last year on their first release on this console. Hopefully the patches and gameplay tuners will help the small things that have been bugging me. Only been glitched into a DNF once and haven't had any issues otherwise. Only got stuck in a looping/desync issue one other time and it fixed itself at the end of the first period, and as I mentioned that may have been because I was playing HUT. While this game might not have every game mode, or really much feature depth. If you're looking for a good hockey game, this is still it. I might play GM eventually with the Leafs, but I've been having fun crushing people online in HUT and slowly building the team I want.

Upon reading this thread and hearing some rave reviews from friends, I'm gonna have to fire up the demo tonight. Have the ultimate edition or whatever pre-ordered for PS4, I usually suck at Fifa compared to other sports games but some online matches and matches on harder difficulty should fix that up after a week or so.

trophy whore but yeah we'll definitely have too, been looking forward to this game before it was even released on PC never mind consoles. Just haven't had the cash to put it into a new brand, really sick of Tiger Woods. Might be able to shuffle some funds around to grab it before the end of the work week.

It wasn't meant to belittle you, but if you would rather play on pro which I said was also not an issue for me. I'm down to try and keep this going for the sake of an EWB league at whatever skill level keeps everyone happy. I was just trying to say it's not fun for me to crush the CPU, and the loss I sustained could have been prevented and wasn't hindering to my "fun" level. If it does for enough people then change it. But honestly I'd rather remove myself then have you leave as you think I'm going to bother you. Won't be the case either way, but regardless. My apologies.

I don't know for sure and highly doubt them patching the game would just corrupt your CFM. I figure you might have found something about that during your searches to be honest if it was. I'd try searching for that specifically and/or just trying again one last time and if it does it again I'd give up too.

It didn't at least when I played a user/user pre-season game against the Chargers my first go.

Been an amazing day of football though I must say. A few big upsets, looks like Green Bay and Denver are going to hold off upsets. Tonight's game should be good, I've read Chicago should play them really tough but I don't know if I see it.

If you have an offline CFM and there has been a new patch for the game or connected franchise there might be an issue. I don't know for sure but I remember in past years it wouldn't update your CFM if it was offline. They told everyone to play online CFM if possbile but only with one user. At least previously, so I just try to stick to that.

It is to me! It was to me when I was younger but I'd have probably just quit gaming or playing sports games all together if I was just playing offline and crushing the CPU or even just winning more than a normal team in a real sport should. I just like a challenge or it's like playing against someone who doesn't know how to even play the game. No fun. If you guys really need to change it to pro, whatever. Same as what I said in the baseball league, I won't really enjoy it/have trouble winning but I'll try and play it out as long as possible to play some good user games, and progress a few seasons hopefully.

Even though we are trying to progress our players as much as humanly possible, the fact we can't sim the last three quarters or whatever is super painful. If you guys/majority want to then I'm obviously fine with it. If not I can play my game in a bit, just before the Sunday Nighter quick.

I haven't played with any slider sets yet, and didn't find All-Pro too difficult so would like to stay with whatever is challenging but don't want people to quit. I just don't think I'd have much trouble beating the CPU on pro the rest of the year. I must say it was a much better game on All-Pro here then it was in my "online" but single player connected franchise about a month ago, was too easy, all-madden too hard.

Nope, you can just play all your games at any point. You just have to finish your first series in 7 days for whatever reason, to keep things going somewhat timely I guess. It really doesn't matter that much though because all the games are open so just play as many as you can.

You're meant to play all 29 games then that's the whole season and we have playoffs from there. I had it set to 40 or whatever option is next up first try around but switched it after the first fail.

Left it at Veteran though that's way too easy for me, if you guys play at higher levels as well then we can move it up. If not we'll play at Veteran so everyone at least has a fighting chance against the AI (those of you playing on Rookie, etc.)
