This mod is great and I highly reccomend it to anyone who has or is looking to try TEW! This might be the best historical mod released to date.

Was truly sad to read that yesterday morning when I woke up. He was one of the greatest major league players of all time in my books. He indeed was always caught with a dip in his mouth, something he came out about after his career and one of his first of two surgeries and made it known to people the true hazards of the shit. In years since MLB has made a concerted effort to try not to show players with dips in their mouths, and if I recall tried to somehow ban it from when you're on the field or something. I don't really remember so don't quote me on that. RIP TG

Ouch. Only bet I had yesterday was doubling my money on Germany, which brought me back to breaking even for the tournament so far. Yeah unfortunately I slept through the Germany game this morning, hadn't bet much at all this past weekend as I was busy. Lost two baseball plays by 1 runs tonight as well, oh well. It happens.

UFC had no say in how TRT changed, and the comissions originally were coming from the right place with the TRT exemptions, as it was legitimately for medical concerns where men were suffering low levels of testosterone, but then people potentially started to take advantage of this and it blurred the lines between legitimate medical treatment and a loophole to take a competitive advantage from and as a result they had to close the exemption as it became more and more controversial. The other side of the coin is that they stopped the exmeption without a cooling off period, and alsi UFC have been willing to try and book the people who have used TRT quickly, and as a result we have this situation Yeah when I said "Possibly more so the UFC for allowing them to come off of it in this form". I meant what you had in your second paragraph, I just worded it poorly still having been vaguely talking about the commission. I definitely agree that there was a clear abuse of the TRT exemption rule, much like you'd expect in a professional sport. So it had to be changed, it might have just been done it poor fashion. Stricter guidelines or time frames given would have probably cleared this mess up for all parties involved.

Awesome, well anyways... I made like 40 bucks today despite a bad day in MLB and splitting my NHL bets 1/2 (missed the side, hit the under 5), because I got a $5 4 team MLB parlay (Philies, Reds, Brewers, and A's) Put this in as a fuck around $2 bet for all the group winners Anyone have any plays on the first game tomorrow? Or second day? Maybe a draw? Really like football betting as the draw factor gives you a lot more wiggle room with the odds and the bookies juice. Don't like much in tomorrow's game other than perhaps double result (half/full time) for Brazil as I had mentioned earlier. Is over 2.5 do able? I figured that Brazil might come out strong and score 2/3 themselves, though I know nothing of either sides strengths and weaknesses overall. Gonna do my research for that match-up tomorrow.

This whole TRT issue and the commission debate has been a high point of discussion with Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez as of late on F4W and WO programs. I'll look through the new observer tomorrow for some more info/tidbits on this, but it's definitely a weird gray area the commission has put themselves in with the TRT ban. Possibly more so the UFC for allowing them to come off of it in this form, and take a fight probably too soon before their levels were back to somewhat regular. It's funny that Wanderlei dipped from his test, and then Vitor got fucked too... I barely even watch UFC anymore but the names I do notice or recall I pay attention to. Sad Sonnen had to go on this note, though you can probably tell he hasn't had his best stuff in quite some time. Not exactly surprising given the nature of his drug suspensions. Let the WWE/TNA/pro wrestling talk for Chael commence though I would love to see him work a 'worked/shoot' match with Lesnar or something, though they can't both be heel's (to note, I mean along the lines of a lions den match or something. Though that's a conversation for another topic.)

Heard about this earlier tonight, about an hour after a notification about Melo has until 'x' day to decide to opt out or resign. I guess they will need to rebuild without Wade eventually, and probably without Bosh as well in order to try and keep a happy LeBron with plenty of money for him. I have a feeling King James will be searching for the max contract he's never gotten, don't know if the Heat can provide that. Though if they lose this year that might change his perspective drastically.

It was a thriller late to say the least, another great game in this series. Two ridiculously close goals saved just at the edge of the NYR's goal line. Made the difference tonight. Great defensive play though for the Rangers, just an awesome hockey game to watch overall. Definitely was a great one, I thought for sure LA was going to tie it, but I am glad to see it going to a fifth game. I'm expecting LA to win it on Friday, though. Yeah I'd be surprised, and actually worried for a second about the King's chances if they don't win on Friday.

For sake of conversation, is this thread specifically just for football? Or can I list my plays in other sports here daily as well? Doesn't really matter just wondering, I guess other sports belong in those threads though not much chatter about gambling going...

Yeah it truly is great, reminds me of watching sitcoms in my younger years that's for sure. Watched it again recently in the last few years; a bit harder to watch in sequence and a lot of then I had remembered, but still a great show. All the actors are great. Brilliant concept, and some good writing and execution throughout.

Dunno if I have enough confidence to bet an outright winner but if I were it'd be Argentina or Germany probably. Intrigued to bet Ivory Coast and England as group winners, though that's because the odds favor me not the bookie. If I can do the accumulated group winners on bet365, might take a stab at that just for great odds. Looking at betting Brazil double result tomorrow was at roughly 1.80 all week.

Yeah the spurs are just going off so far in the first half. Set the record for best shooting quarter in the Finals for a team twice already now this series, Game one 4th Q and this game 1st.
