I'll get my game in early this time, lost to the Titans (0-3 before) after two or three pick 6's early in the game. I couldn't come back or stop Dexter McCluster from breaking off a few big runs either. Haven't been playing at all other than my games for this so it's starting to show oh well.

Really looking forward to the two wildcard matches the next two days. Royals might be able to pull off an upset, who knows.

I haven't been online to play my game and won't be until tomorrow after class at 1pm, if that's an issue then I'll have to be simmed. I will play tmrw at roughly 1pm though. Just haven't been in any shape too as I have a black eye and some broken ribs, long story. I won't complain either way, whatever works. Signing on and playing my game now, thanks guys.

Looking forward to the UCLA/Arizona State game tonight as well, disappointed to find out I might not get it on TV (including my sports pack, even though Appalachian State and Georiga Southern are on now...)

Yeah it has been a great game thus far, thought Jeter was going to go deep with a guy on first his first at bat and then he hit a ground rule. Great atmosphere in the stadium, really fun to watch.

Yeah I had that once in this either against you Pat or against the CPU in my last game I can't remember.

Got a few good underdog covers brewing for this week, really liking Minnesota +11.5 against Michigan.

Went 3-2 against the spread yesterday in the NFL, hit Colts -6, Cincy -6.5 and Dallas -1.5. Missed San Fran -3 and Carolina -3 late, terrible.

It helps to actually tweak the whole entire slider system and not just say, CPU QB accuracy or other things start messing up. At least that's what I've noticed from my experience years ago, just started playing with full slider sets on operationsports. Haven't had the chance to get a set going for this game yet as I got wrapped up in NHL a few weeks ago. Gonna try the All-Pro set and All-Madden set I found and start a franchise with them.

3rd string Rams QB takes them on a first drive TD against the Cowboys defense. I shouldn't have listened to those five hours of pre-game coverage on the NFL Network. Kept talking up the Cowboys defense playing better than people think they would be. Typical.

Jeez, I only pay $35 on my provider for full coverage of every top American sport including college. In comparison paying just for the channels that show my local games (hockey), thursday night football, jays games, etc. are about the same price as the full sports package was.

That's terrible, heard that on the NFL Network about an hour or so ago. They mentioned he had married Terry Bradshaw's daughter last off-season as well. RIP.

But what if I want to simulate college football? Will I be able to party with Drake or steal crab legs from the local grocery as well? All this talk makes me miss Blitz: The League even though it was only out once. The option to juice up your players and bet on games and send hookers to the other team to try and throw them off the night before the game, all priceless. Eventually someone else needs to try and make an "M" rated football game with just as much off the field focus as on, even if it just is a text sim. I don't even care if it's all fake gimmicked players because of it, if the content is there it's there. Anyways, are any of these football sims worth checking out? Like FM/OOTP baseball level? Or more like the last hockey game that came out? Skip-able.

Must have been some kind of online glitch, but I fucked up and hadn't added you on as co-commish yet. Forgot too when I started the league and haven't been back on MLB since. I'll do that soon and you can replay it anytime. Done and fixed Made it so you can resolve and restart games, and so all you guys can invite people as well. Doubt the latter will matter much though, just thought it'd help.

I don't know about "user friendly" while playing each game; but there are an extensive amount of tutorials available to pretty much teach you everything you need to know about football and the control system. The full tutorial and levels may take up to an hour or more but if you're an inexperienced player or lack general football knowledge, it's a huge help. The different skill options all vary on how much help you get from the AI as well in terms of what your controlled player does. I'd say overall they've made it a lot easy for inexperience madden/football gamers to just pick up and play, regardless of tutorials, etc.

Yeah the speed must have been a huge issue, I had no chance in the first half of both my games until I got used to it and scored some points in the second half of both games. Not making excuses as I deserved to lose both games with some shotty defense and bad ball protection (mad interceptions with Luck ) Probably my favorite game I've played thus far was against Pat, great little game even though he dominated most of it, I got lucky and almost came back. Haven't gotten a lot of time in with this years Madden but this league has helped a lot, thanks guys! Hopefully I can figure my shit out and wake up, beat the Jags and start the road to the playoffs at 1-2

Yeah being from the GTA I noticed that during my season with the Jays, remarkable little addition. The Show really is the most realistic sports game out.
