For a calendar year, it's hard to top '94. It was a good mix of critical and commercial success.
Over a 12-month period, summer '96 to summer '97 was pretty revolutionary.

1997, I have to say. If the last 6 months of 1996 was it's own year then that. What C-MIL says is pretty accurate.

I did mean creatively. I've basically memorized 1996 through 1998 in WCW. But I wanted to start watching programming from earlier on & figured EWB would definitely be the place to get an accurate opinion. Thanks guys.
