  1. What are some of the best WWF years pre 1997? I want to check out shows/ppvs that I missed as a kid.

1992 is a pretty good start. The best Royal Rumble ever with lots of star power and future stars mixed throughout, a pretty good WrestleMania VIII, Summerslam in Wembley Stadium is a classic. Survivor Series that year is kinda hit or miss, the first time they more or less abandoned the team concept and just made it a regular PPV, but 3 out of 4 ain't bad. 1994 is an overall pretty decent year too, wrestling-wise.

Slick. Thank you. I'm watching a few shows from the late 80's to catch Jake The Snake & anyone else I missed. 92' sounds right up my alley. Forgive my ignorance, but was there a weekly show during 92'?

Superstars and Wrestling Challenge were both syndicated around that time with mostly enhancement matches. And Prime Time Wrestling aired on USA as the pre-cursor to Raw, that had taped in-ring action around that time presented in between a round-table discussion Vince, Heenan, Monsoon, Mr, Perfect, and a variety of other personalities each week like Slick, Hillbilly Jim, Jim Duggan etc. Not quite as great as the 80's-early 90's format with just Monsoon and Heenan, but still good stuff.
