  1. edit: bah, didn't read above post >_< They probably will give him a Gatling Gun though. I wouldn't put it past them to. I think that Jesse James vs Capone is kind of cheap though, since...we already had Mafia on, and I can't see what weapons would be different.
  2. What I think is bullshit is this. I don't know the result of IRA vs Spetsnaz. I had another Deadliest show to watch (Deadliest Catch )
  3. Well, the big difference is that yes, not much of Sun Tzu is known aside from the book, Vlad the Impaler literally kept the Ottomans out of Europe, and nearly 1900 years separate them. They might as well pit Julius Caesar against Robert E. Lee if they're going to go for that much of a time difference. WHO IS THE DEADLIEST WARRIOR? CAESAR OR GENERAL LEE?! As for tonight, pretty meh. SWAT vs GSG9 is more or less the same role. This, along with Green Beret vs Spetnaz, were pretty boring since they used weapons that were so similar. Mafia vs Yakuza was a least different, as was IRA vs Taliban.
  4. Guns that aren't modern are fine, I think, but when it comes to stuff like M-16 vs AK-47, I could really care less. I mainly watch to see weapons that had little to no knowledge of, like the mere that the Maori used.
  5. Some of the first season episodes seemed to have a 'well duh' factor attached to them. Take Pirate vs Knight. I asked my nine year old niece who would win. "Pirate!" "Why?" "He has a gun!" The major decisive advantage in that fight was in fact the pirate having a gun What sold me on it was in the very first episode when they showed the Roman Scissor. After seeing the carnage that baby could inflict, my mindset went into "Oh hell yeah!" mode. Here are my picks... Attila the Hun vs. Alexander the Great Jesse James vs. Al Capone Vlad the Impaler vs. Sun Tzu Aztec Jaguar vs. Zande Warrior Persian Immortal vs. Celt Roman Centurion vs. Rajput Somali Pirates vs. Medellin Cartel * Nazi SS vs. Viet Cong * KGB vs. CIA Ming Warrior vs. Musketeer Commanche vs. Mongol (I say this yet I have Commanche in my blood :\ ) Navy SEALs vs. Israeli Commandos
  6. The opening bit would be "Jailbreak" by AC/DC. Although Bon Scott had been dead nearly five years, Jailbreak was barely known in the US since it was an Australia release only. The album it came off of, "'74 Jailbreak", was released in the US on October 15, 1984, the same day I was born. Seeing how AC/DC is my favorite band, I'd say it is a perfect fit. As far the closing title, that really depends on how the plot goes . It could either be the theme from The Natural, or the Benny Hill theme . If it's the latter, it would not surprise me .
  7. Oddly enough, my ex and I played Mario Kart before the first time we did it. >_> Strange, my friend said that before he got the best blowjob of his life that he and the girl played Donkey Kong Country beforehand.
  8. This is in no particular order. Favorite movies to me are not supposed to be artistic or historic, but just...movies you can sit down and enjoy. 1. Don't Tell Mom The Babysiter's Dead 2. Used Cars 3. Twister 4. Dune 5. Dawn of the Dead (1978) 6. Free Enterprise (A must see for any fan of science fiction) 7. Star Trek II 8. Return of the Jedi 9. Suburban Commando 10. Battle Royale Honorable Mentions: The Wizard, From Dusk Till Dawn, The Quick and the Dead, Escape From New York, Terminator, Terminator 2, a hell of a lot more.

    "classical" music

I love Mozart's Requiem, at least the parts of it people know he wrote Beethoven's works that I love are the Emperor Piano Concerto, Third Movement and the allegro from Pathetique. Chopin's Polonaise in A major Op. 40 No. 1 is awesome. My favorite Liszt work is Hungarian Rhapsody #2, though when I listen to it it has to be done a certain way; I'm not a fan of some of the liberties I've seen taken with it. One piece I really loved but can't listen to objectively is the Dies Irae by Verdi, and it's probably obvious why The great thing about Beethoven over Mozart is that most of Mozart's work seems to have a happy feeling to it, while Beethoven's was just epic.
  10. Bah, I forgot. The Metal Blade. Keep your Gravity Guns, and all your other little toys. I'll fire off a shitload of these bastards at you all day.
  11. A nice high caliber pistol, be it revolver or automatic. Something that's meant to kill a bear or an elephant in one fucking shot. I love it when I am offered these. The Python in GTA: VC and the Magnum in Goldeneye brought images of Dirty Harry to mind, blowing the fuck out whatever I hit. The Desert Eagle in San Andreas was just as fun, only you can move while firing it! Why use that AK-47 or M-16 when it takes 3 or 4 shots at range, when you can take them out in one shot?
  12. And that's the way it is.
  13. At least we'll still have GI Joe: The Movie, in spite of the man character being made up for the film and none of the regulars having any major role at all.
  14. Because Shakespeare and everyone who saw his plays at the Globe were all dust when motion pictures came out.
  15. AC/DC - Back in Black Well aside from bias of AC/DC being my favorite band, all the songs on this album are awesome. I have heard over the years every song on it played on rock stations, I think that maybe the only other album by AC/DC to even remotely get that kind of exposure is Highway to Hell (wow, I think I've heard maybe three of the songs from their played). It's stood the test of time, tied for second in total album sales with Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, behind Thriller for the most albums sold. What makes it even more remarkable is it was AC/DC's first album with Brian Johnson, taking over for what was then the recently deceased Bon Scott. If Highway to Hell put AC/DC on the map, then Back in Black made it a damn national landmark.
  16. Who? No, not him. Someone else from the Dungeon
