KK Slider is finally coming!

This game is cool Finally talked my son into going through his hoard of bugs and fish. Kept one of each and started reorganizing his zoo

My son (he’s almost 4) and I are making a carnival/fair on our island. He loves this game so much we’ve had to institute some rules on screen time for the first time ever. When we aren’t playing he wants to watch YouTube videos for tips and tricks. He’s also obsessed with catching bugs and fish and stacking them outside of his house. About 1/4 of the island is taken up by rows of his own private “zoo”

Ah didn't realize that - I know the islands you get a Nook Ticket to go to are random, but I thought maybe by visiting a player's island perhaps in the opposite hemisphere would give you different types of fish and bugs. Already knew about creating Tarantula Islands, but I'm so bad at actually catching them that I end up going for the giant moths on the trees and catching only a few spiders 😆

does anyone have an island that spawns sharks?

I enjoyed Episodes 2 and 3 for what they were, but Phantom Menace is not at all a good movie. It's being rumored that the follow up to Solo may be folded into the Obi-Wan Disney + Series from a couple articles I've read. I agree though, I want to see it followed up.

Under the stay at home order, the wife and I have embarked on watching all of the Star Wars films in chronological order (I'd only seen episodes 4-6 years ago) and we've watched Episodes 1-3 and Solo: A Star Wars Story so far. Holy shit, I never really believed that The Phantom Menace could be as bad as people said. It's sooooo boring, and Jar Jar Binks is as obnoxious as people claimed. Terrible. Two hours of bickering about trade routes. And how ineffective was Darth Maul? Anyway, I enjoyed both Episodes 2 and 3 that followed. I was expecting Solo to be terrible based on reviews and social media posts I'd seen, but I didn't mind it and feel like fans will be missing out if they don't follow up with a sequel seeing as how it ended.

Yeah, tons of fun. Bought a physical copy for my wife on amazon, but was sent an alert saying to expect delays. So I bought Animal Crossing Digitally for her launch morning and low and behold the physical comes a few hours later. So I kept it for myself and we have both been putting in the hours. Such a relaxing time killer.

I still don't understand why they dropped that awesome storyline creation mode from years ago. We got awesome creations like Zero's Zack Ryder US Title career story that made the replayability so much more.

It follows really is fantastic. I went in hearing nothing about it and was completely blown away.

Super Mario Maker 2’s online creations are still shit. Nothing but automated levels where you run through and hear music or the same ridiculously difficult levels with death traps and insanely precise jumps. I wish I wouldn’t have purchased this game

I enjoyed it quite a bit. Not as good as Silence of the Lambs but way ahead of Hannibal in quality.

I watched The Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal and Red Dragon for the first time over the last two days. Usually I'd say that Julianne Moore would be an upgrade from Jodie Foster in anything else, but man, that series was really hurt by Foster not reprising the role of Agent Starling.

It's certainly not just a nostalgia thing. There's a bunch of Sonic cartoons, including SONIC Boom on the streaming apps that have kept Sonic relevant.

Strange post to follow with this - but my wife and I took our son to see this earlier and he loved it. For anyone claiming that they shouldn’t have given into fan backlash and redesigned Sonic, well you’re wrong.

The way they cropped that Guardians logo on the score bar graphic is driving me mad.

I was pretty impressed with what I saw. Presentation wise it looks slick. Loved the touchdown graphics, simplified score ticket and the neat little +6 animations that added to the ticker on each score

My son is super into Pokémon so he, my wife and I all have been learning how to play the trading card game. It always seemed too daunting to me, but we are getting the hang of it and it is super fun. Definitely shouldn’t have waited so long to play.

Been getting some use out of the Wii again as my son likes the motion controls and is obsessed with Wii bowling. I started messing around with a Super Mario Galaxy 2 after he went to bed, and damn - what a fun game. Wouldn’t mind seeing both Galaxies remastered for the Switch.

Are you asking about Yoshi’s Crafted World? My 4 year old absolutely lived it and when we beat it he went from celebrating to crying when he realized it was over 😂

Walmart, at least in my area always has the Nintendo 1st party games $10 cheaper than every other supplier

I absolutely HATED Mario Maker. It’s the only game I’ve regretted purchasing
