I accidentally watched Mad Love. It was terrible. Of course, I don't care for How I Met Your Mother, either. As for Mr. Sunshine, it's...well, it's not bad. I like it. Kind of. It's yet to make me laugh out loud, but I smirk enough to keep going back to it. I watch it, but it's not "can't-miss". I have skipped an episode or two if a good game is on, or I have the itch to play Xbox.

Anybody have any suggestions for cheap, but decent defenders? We've won two and lost one in our first three games in the Blue Square Premier, but our defense is horrendous. I have like 7k in transfer funds, and can probably wing $30,000-$40,000 bucks a year on a guy.

Ok. I'm planning on starting a new franchise tonight. One that I hope to stick with, and I'm going to be playing the AHL games too. I think if I actually do that I'll get a better feel for when they're ready to move up, whether their ratings reflect it or not. Thanks, SDM.

I have had a nasty habit of starting a new franchise every time I turn NHL on. I always start with a lower team, and trade away the high priced contracts for draft picks. Not sure if I'm doing myself any favors by doing this. I know it depends on your assistant coach, but how quickly do these guys I'm drafting (usually in the 60-70 range) develop into guys I can bring up into the NHL? Would promoting them right away help them develop faster? Or would I be better to leave them on the first and second lines of my AHL team, than them being fourth on my NHL team?

Amare smacking LeBron's weak ass attempt there at the end was just glorious. Defense really stepped up tonight. Almost makes up for our performance against Cleveland.

Well, I'm not so quick as to count out the East, but I do agree that I don't think Boston wins it all without Perkins. The O'Neals will breakdown (well, they already are) by the Eastern Finals, if they get that far. We shall see, though.
