We've all been there.

Maybe it's because I was tired and cranky or because I expect so much from them now, but Community and Parks & Rec were rather disappointing last night.

I especially love that the Saints front office was "ok" with it. If they had said "No" would he have really given a rat's ass? Considering the circumstances (the Pats at 18-0, being the 4th quarter, Eli all but sacked, the catch itself, it setting up the winning score) I'm hard pressed to think of another play as great as that. And I'm a Bronco fan.

I think this sums it up: Sanchez a felon? No. Sanchez rather creepy? Yes.

I think it's a mix of both. I started a new journeyman game, at the bottom of the pile. I'm with Braintree. I signed some 19-year old striker on free and he scored four goals in our five friendlies. First game of the season comes along and bam; broken leg, out six to eight months. I'm a feeder team for Chesterfield, and they sent a few players my way that easily are in my starting eleven. Even with my super striker out, we've won four and drawn two of our first six.

I almost went there after New Orleans was struck by Katrina. I'm still from an hour south of there though. I'm talking farming, chickenhouses, hillbilly Delaware. Also, I can honestly say I've never been to a Delaware State game, though. I'm a big Blue Hen fan, though. And yes, Sahyder, you jinxed UNC, because I'm almost 100% sure you did something to cause them to roll over. I don't know man, Dover's pretty hillbilly too. They have a NASCAR track. But an hour south of there puts you pretty close to the beaches does it not? Yeah. I essentially had a farm in my front yard and a beach in my back. I grew up raising chickens and surfing.

The Yankees, Notre Dame football and UNC hoops? Cherry pick much? I'm surprised you don't also root for the Lakers/Celtics and Manchester United to complete your unholy empire of evil. My dad graduated from UNC. And he's a diehard Yankee fan. That's why I'm into them. Notre Dame is because I grew up watching them on NBC. Not cherry picking. When you grow up in southern Delaware, and the nearest professional team of any kind is three hours away, it's not like I really have a hometown team to root for. And I'm actually a Knick fan.

People do sing along. Just not to the level which seems to have become the normal in NHL arenas in Canada. There are a lot of people who just don't know the anthem though. In schools here the anthem isn't played like it is around the world. Most people don't sing during the anthem because the tradition is to lower your head and pray or at least appear to be paying respects during the singing, much like you do during the Pledge of Allegiance. That's what was instilled in me in the military. You stand there in silence, and respect. You don't sing along; you stand at attention.

Szumi, we'll have to try to meet up for a Union game this season.

It's installing now. Count me in. I'm an American that knows nothing of 2001/2002 football. And I've never played this game before. But I'll give it a shot. Scratch that. It keeps crashing during the installation.

Got my first look at Entourage last night. Yeah, I know, I'm years and years behind. Loved it and am going to look for the first few seasons on DVD this weekend.

I actually love college basketball. I'm a North Carolina fan, but I haven't really been following it much this season. Not really sure why, just don't have the time, I guess.
