Well, my Braintree squad won the Blue Square South with ease and we're headed to the Blue Square Premier. We're all on vacation for a month and then back to the grind. Before heading on vacation, I was going nuts trying to get anyone who would listen a contract offer, but no one signed. Should be interesting to see if our chemistry carries over. We did fine, and won the FA Trophy, so we are capable of defeating BSP teams. It's just a matter of depth. I got lucky and almost always fielded my usual first team last year. Wouldn't be shocked at all to suffer injury after injury this season, as that's usually the case.

I liked what I saw tonight. Melo and Billups both fit in like a glove, it seems, and once we get a little bit of chemistry going, we could really make the rest of this season fun.

Exactly. If the Nets were on the bubble of going from a mediocre team to a great team with this trade, I'd say they won out on it. But giving up what they did while trying to rebuild their whole franchise seems a bit silly. I think Drago got it in his head that since the Knicks made a splash, he had to, too. Also, maybe this trade means the Jazz will bring Sloan back.

From what I've seen, Williams hasn't signed an extension in Jersey so there's still the chance that he too will be a free agent next summer. I'd prefer CP3 myself simply because I think he fits the system better, but Williams has the better build for playoff runs so I was hoping that both guys would be available. Having said that, I think CP3 would be more likely to sacrifice some money to come play for the Knicks so we'll see. I know it's stupid, but if they can't get a PG and managed to land Dwight Howard that would be the most awesome Knicks team I've ever seen. Dwight could average 10 blocks a game just covering for all of the guys that zoom right by STAT and 'Melo. Hell, I could play point for those guys. "Here's the play, I'm just going to throw the ball somewhere near the hoop and you guys can go get it!" That would be the most glorious team of all teams. Shit, I completely forgot about the create-a-story. With the Nitro arena, my Hogan and Savage caws, and Lex Luger dlc, I could probably have a ball with that.

I guess I consider 'low level' to be the Blue Square divisions, so the Blue Square North/South/Premier. My favorite is Braintree. I tend to start every journeyman game with them. Just like my current one. ^_^

Through 31 games with Braintree, we've won 28, lost 2, and have 1 draw. We're in Conference South. Eight of my starting eleven are from loans from higher up. Nobody is really standing out. I've just seemed to have found the perfect chemistry and game planning with this squad. We tend to play a slower, defensive counter attack style game and it's done nothing but work almost every game. We even played Chelsea somewhat tough, losing only 3-1. We're about to start the first leg of the semi-finals for the FA Trophy. Think I may hang around with them another season or two, especially if I can keep these boys together.

Yeah, but look at the teams right below them. They've played three, four, or five games less against the Top Ten than Wolves have.

The Chase has officially killed any and all interest I had in NASCAR. Fuck if I'm going to waste my time watching the first twenty-six races, if I can just get caught up on the last ten.
