  1. Well, yes and no. Damage is pretty much the same as Tekken 6 but with one difference. When you juggle someone in the air and combo them, it applies a damage damage scaling based on the launcher. It's basically 100-80-80-60-60 and so on the longer the combo goes. If both fighters stay on the ground it stays at 100-100-100 though. It just feels like health has been increased because Tag Tournament games always have halved health to account for two fighters.... I used to be in the competitive scene and am trying to get back into it, so learning these things is useful for me. Also, PSN is Deidara1026 for people who ever wanna go a round or two. As long as I'm not busy I'm happy to get the practice in.
  2. For the record if any EWBers on PS4 wanna throw down a few rounds, I'm always game. Helps me practice my Asuka game anyways.
  3. Beat the story mode in no time flat, even watching cutscenes. One of my major issues is how they decided to tackle the controls. Story mode has a special feature called story assist that lets you instantly do some of the character in use's signature or useful moves. This... really, really makes the mode far too easy, to a damaging extent because every battle can quickly come down to spamming Story Assist. The character episodes, which are basically one to two battles for every character who doesn't have a huge part in the main plot, are really well done though. This is where you'll get character endings this time around, and overall.... yeah, they did good with this. As far as the main plot goes.... I'm torn on how to feel about this. There's not anything inherently wrong with it, but I really dislike their use of a third party narrator, as his own character, between chapters. It honestly drags me out of the story a little, but to each their own. I also have some major problems with the ending, which I won't get into even in spoiler tags because I feel it'd be better for people to experience the story themselves. Overall, I enjoyed the story, but.... it still feels like they missed their mark ever so slightly. The main game is definitely where Tekken 7 shines, however. The controls feel more responsive and tight, they did a great job of adjusting characters to the removal of bounds, and I'm definitely enjoying the addition of certain moves being uninterruptible while also still making you take damage. Great way to trade damage and punish someone going for a reckless charge, as well as to knock the opponent back so you can regain your bearings. The customization options are also absolutely great this time around. I personally love that we kept the NJPW collab items even in the west. I'll never get tired of seeing King in the Okada collab outfit just blasting a dude with the Rainmaker. In the end... for any bad the game could do, it makes up for it with something even better. It's an amazing experience, and a bit better of an experience than even Tag Tournament 2, which I considered my favorite Tekken even as a life long fan since game one. Definitely a must buy for any Tekken fan, in my opinion. However, it lacks a Los Ingobernables de Japon shirt in the collab, so 8/10
  4. To be totally fair, Fire Pro is less a game you play and more a game you simulate. The system is incredibly deep, likely the best I've seen for simulating. But it's a bit of a chore to play unless it clicks just right for you. Personally, I play to simulate more than to play matches myself.
  5. Honestly, I'd be content even with a PS4 release of Returns at this point. Give us something, Spike Chunsoft...
  6. Boy this somebody fellow must certainly be some kind of wizard since he left 3 individual likes on a single post of mine.

  7. I'd be happy to try to do some work or testing when you guys need it. I fully admit that while I love TEW, I miss EWR more, and the newer databases are just so damn cluttered and messy I can't bring myself to touch them, and it ends up putting me off. :/
  8. So any word on if the nerfed ports for the PS3 and 360 are getting any remote upgrades from the 2K14 engine? Or are we just getting another roster update?
  9. Man, so I searched to see if I could find a topic for this game and I came up empty. That's kind of surprising to me, considering how... well, good this game is. Anyone else here play it? If so, how far along are you? It'd be awesome to get some hunts going with other members. Myself, I'm currently at HR9 for the Caravan quests. I only just hit HR4 in the Guild Hall, sadly. Focusing on the single player aspect and grinding it has made me neglect the more 'fun' part of the game, so to speak.
  10. Bah.. Missed out on Sonic.. I've had my eye on Empire Total War though. Steam name is VermillionShift
  11. Beat the Elite 4 again then go north of the first town. You'll get the Sinnoh starters. Yeah, pretty much this, too. Gengar is immune to Earthquake while Mega Gengar takes 2x from it. Since Mega Gengar is already a bit of a glass cannon, that can be an issue if you don't manage to one hit kill the Gyrados. Also: Anyone need anything bred in particular? I'm kinda bored and want to do some breeding.
  12. While I don't really like my birthday normally, I have to admit... It's awesome to share a birthday with CM Punk.

    1. Meacon Keaton

Maybe you guys were switched at birth and you're the real CM Punk!

  13. In all fairness, even if 2K hadn't confirmed that roster leak was fake... I find it incredibly hard to believe that they would put in NXT stars, yet completely omit Adrian Neville, Paige, and Emma for Aiden English and Enzo Amore sans Colin Cassady. Especially since they said the cutoff is after Wrestlemania this year.
  14. Your missing Tom Brandi/Sal Sincere in your last posted WWF Roster.
  15. Not to bump this thread after months but when I was updating this scenario to November for use in a diary, which SKA very graciously suggested I use, I decided to flat out do a bit of a miniature "update" of sorts to bring all of the companies up to November of 96. It's actually been pretty smooth sailing, although I still need to find a roster for ECW around that time. Just reporting in because I found a few issues in the scenario. I'll list them off and see if I can't do something about fixing them up myself, but just a bit of a heads up of some oversights. -Bill Irwin is not in the database at all. He wrestled in WWF around this time still as The Goon. -Tom Brandi does not seem to be in the database. He wrestled in the WWF as Salvatore Sincere and under his real name. Later he picked up The Patriot gimmick, who is in the scenario but I'm assuming that is meant to be Del Wilkes' incarnation. -Max Muscle is missing from the scenario. He would have been working for WCW at about the time this scenario was made, as well as November. -DeWayne Bruce is also missing. He would have still been active on the WCW roster at points, likely as Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker. -Joseph D'Acquisto (The Roadblock) Isn't included either. He would have been employed with WCW in August too if my research is proving right.
  16. I'm looking to pick up a new 3DS game, but I'm really caught between three games. Could anyone here help me decide between the three? While I will admit I'm leaning in the direction of one of them due to the demo, one of the trio has no demo for me to try out. The games are: -Fire Emblem: Awakening -Bravely Default -Shin Megami Tensei IV Cheers.
  17. Still need one, mate? I have like, nearly a full box of adamant perfect IV Dittos.
  18. Looks like we can't actually join via the site in the opening post, anymore.
  19. In that case, I might see about joining up. It'd be nice to be apart of a community, and hopefully get quite a bit better. xD
  20. I may not be a club member, but I'd be happy to watch if the game has spectating. I'm shit playing (And, you know, not a member), but watching could help me learn a bit.
  21. I picked this game up the other day, the first FIFA I've played in years. It's freaking brilliant. I've just been having fun in career, I've yet to really dick with UT yet.
  22. Am I one of the only ones who got it on the first shot..? Also, it's coded on that match that he's more or less always going to reverse the AA at least twice. I'm fairly certain it's supposed to be three, but I've heard people claim they got it on two.
  23. You know... Considering they made breeding easier in this generation, I gave it a shot. I genuinely did. And I bred something with amazing IVs in no time flat the other day... And then I forgot to save... Needless to say, after nearly a week, I still haven't managed it again. I hate my luck with breeding sometimes.
  24. He'd still have an NWO Shirt during his entrance.
  25. With the new update abolishing MSP, are they charging tax on arcade titles now? I don't have the money on my credit card to cover tax if the converted money on my account isn't enough.
