  1. I couldn't pick one film either, but if I had to it would definitely be one of Kubricks, just because they offer so many different ways to watch and interpret them. I know Sean posted this somewhere as well, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sUIxXCCFWw. I have seen this movie many times, but there is still new stuff to catch on each viewing.
  2. Probably one of the best, if not the best episodes the show has ever done, mainly due to
  3. Yup. I thought it was gonna be way worse, but I'll definitely watch again the next week. It wasn't great or anything, but there were some fun moments.
  4. I'm with Ruki here. Hope it picks up next week.
  5. Well, that puts Young Justice further ahead on my to do list. Is the Green Lantern animated series good as well? Also, everyone should watch Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 1. Great adaption of the comic, and in my opinion even better than the Batman: Year One animated movie.
  6. Major, major improvement over last week.
  7. New How To Destroy Angels single 'Keep it Together'. Sweet.
  8. Wow and damn. Another fantastic episode that was so fucking intense I couldn't keep sitting in my chair. This show is so awesome.
  9. So, the latest episode of Gravity Falls was once again great. Go watch it people!
  10. They should have killed him a long time ago. It seems as if Jared Padalecki has a clause in his contract that stops the writers from turning the character into anything other than a moody, annoying son of a bitch. Dean killing things is the appeal of this show (maybe with Castiel as a weird sidekick).
  11. Yes, it's his release, I get that. He could however kill someone who is not the new main target of the whole police force. He has picked other targets before, so why not now? One of his rules was always "Don't get caught". Furthermore, everything that happened at the airport was absolutely ridiculous, even for this show.
  12. Well, that's hardly news. But yes, it was one of the most ridiculous and stupid kills-of-the-week they ever did, or at least that I can recall. The reason why people are liking this episode (and it is a good episode, whatever a good episode of Dexter means these days) is that they didn't chicken out in the end. However, they still have this season AND another one to go. I don't think that they can keep up this quality at all.
  13. EDIT: No need to double post, so: Boardwalk Empire renewed for a fourth season.
  14. Meh, I'll have to disagree with GoGo here.
  15. Eh, I thought it was pretty average. There is some potential there for sure, but it's pretty much what you'd expect given the premise.
  16. You should all watch it. It was easily one of the best new shows last year (probably second only to Game of Thrones, and even that can be argued) and it is a really good drama, that has a great storyline coupled with beautiful acting and it has you at the edge of your seat most of the time. And if the second season premiere is any indication, the trend will continue.
  17. Sherlock it is not, but it can't be / doesn't aim to be, due to a totally different format (40 minutes vs. 90 minutes). It is definitely enjoyable, but doesn't carry the feeling of greatness with it that Sherlock in my opinion manages to achieve. I didn't find the fast-talking by Jonny Lee Miller that annoying, but it's pretty much the same in Sherlock anyways (except that Cumberbatch fits the role much better so far, but Jonny Lee Miller only had one episode yet, and there is potential).
