Been playing a game as my team Bradford City. Finished 7th in the league. I was hovering around 3rd/4th for long enough but had a bad run of games (6 straight defeats) but managed a very strong run right at the end and with one game to go we we're in 7th and Barnsley we're in sixth with a 3 point advantage, but we had the better goal difference. We did our part beating Scunthorpe 4-1 and all it needed was for Barnsley to lose at Oldham. Oldham we're winning right up until the 86th minute when Barnsley scored a penalty, meaning we missed out on the playoffs by four minutes and one point. I haven't really made any major signings apart from Jari Litmanen in January on a free who didn't play much due to lack of fitness. But for the upcoming season I've had to sell 6-7 of my best players because we were seriously in the red. I managed to keep Litmanen as he took a pay cut from £2,000 to £450, which was nice of him as with the departures he's going to have to play a hell of a lot more. I'm predicting a finish of around 10th to 12th for this season. One thing I found was being screwed out of wage money. I'd worked really hard to get it within budget (26k) by the end of the season. I get offered a new contract for 2 years with the budget being increased to 30k. I decide to negotiate asking for better training facilities. The board come back and say they can't afford to improve them. So I sign anyway. I then look at my wage budget and it's been reduced to £19k, WTF?

It's a remix that doesn't say it's a remix because it's had a verse added in. The last one I can think of that did something was Amerie's '1 Thing' which had a version with Eve in it that was never labelled a remix. It's just a ploy to get more to buy the single as no-one will have it on the album and with it being the fourth release off the album it probably wouldn't have sold that well.

I'm getting COD2, Condemned, Madden and Kameo on launch, nothing else really bothers me until stuff like Mass Effect, Elder Scrolls, Resident Evil 5 and the like start coming out next year.

Yeah give Metal Gear and FF a try. You'll have to start off with MGS2, but there's a good write up of the first one on Wikipedia if you want to follow the story. Also, I strongly recommend Resident Evil 4. For fighting try Tekken and then there's always Smackdown vs. RAW. For Racing it's pretty obvious you're going to want Gran Turismo if you want a racing game. Also give the Silent Hill series a try as well.

Big game tomorrow. I'm going for a GB win. I think they'll win by 6 points or so making it GB vs. Aus in the final.

I thought he was leaving at the end of the season because they had a big testimonial planned for him. I don't get why they were so angry with him for the interview, what he was saying was the truth and things he's probably said to many a player in the past. Ah well, I don't like him but I thought he was a good player. What do you think he'll do now? Retire? Or give another club a crack?

If it goes to anyone it'll probably be NTL/Telewest in partnership with Channel 5, or Setanta Sports with Bravo. I don't see the BBC or ITV getting any. Sky will buy 5 packages, then someone will get just one.

Try and get them both, if you can find them second hand somewhere you should be able to get them cheap. I know round here I could get an Xbox and PS2 second hand with 2 controllers and a game for each for around £100. Don't know how much you'd be able to get them from in Australia but I doubt that there would be that much difference. But if you had to get one I'd say PS2. I have both but I like the Playstation better than the Xbox.

I'm doing it because I have a lot of spare cash to burn, but if Call Of Dut 2 hadn't been announced for the launch I would have probably held off for a while.

I don't think it's possible to put someone up for loan, and the only way they'll get loaned out is if someone makes an offer to loan them.

I'm still undecided whether to get a the Revolution or not, I'll be getting the PS3 and 360 on launch, but the Revolution is set to debut after both those so I'll probably give it a year or two before I pick one up.

I pulled mine apart a few weeks ago, got it working but then it stopped again, so I pulled it apart again and sold it as spares and repairs on ebay for £20.

I've been playing quite a lot recently, but usuaully I'll spend around 3 or 4 hours playing 3 times a week. I very rarely play anymore than that. With FM however, I'll usually spend quite a lot of time playing that because I don't really sleep much so I'll be on that from around 1am to 4am before finally going to sleep.

I'm a member of IGN's Founders Club, can't remember how much it cost me and can't be bothered to cancel it. I use Gamespot mainly and used to be a complete member, but haven't renewed my account, might do though once I get my 360 depending on what they do. I used to buy Gamesmaster every month, but I haven't bought a computer magazine in at least 2 years apart from the odd Xbox magazine or PS2 magazine if they had a good demo on it. The magazines etc. that I subsribe to now are the Wrestling Observer, Empire, FHM, Arena and Maxim which have nothing to do with gaming.
