  1. Does this mean Warrior and the WWE are at least on talking terms? Potential HOFer?
  2. wait, Spearing is going to Blackburn now? What is the agreed fee in the end?
  3. Anelka is having a medical at West Brom.
  4. My new favourite gimmick idea. Hugo Bossman - If the Bossman didn't pass away, he could of been a fashionista.

Wait, who's this coming down to save Bossman? It's RALPHUS LAUREN.

  5. Saw Dinosaur Jr's Glasto warm up set in Reading last night. J Mascis is such a rad dude. My ears are blown to pieces now though. One of the very few bands to reform and actually write music that is just as good as the old material.
  6. Rockets From A Crypt - On A Rope
  7. ahhhh man. Devo are one of the most influential musicians of their time, and nobody really knows it.
  8. The Reading squad is shaping up nicely, excited for next season. If we actually invested last season we might of had a chance in surviving the drop.
  9. Reading have just confirmed the signing of U.S International Danny Williams for an undisclosed fee from Hoffenheim.
  10. Made a game a few months back, with an updated league tables with who i thought at the time would be promoted/relegated. Choose to be Tranmere in the Championship as a challenge. Ended up winning the play off's. Couldn't sign anyone of note in the prem, so just stuck with a terribly average squad, but with great harmony. Had a storming second half of the season and finished 13th, with my Free Transfer signing Adam Rooney bagging 21 goals in the prem, missing out on the golden boot by 1! In my second season, because of my low wage bill and tiny overheads, we turned over a profit of 68m, which allowed my board to release funds of 30m to build on our status, as well as improve the youth system to an academy, and improve our training facilities and scouting network. Still couldn't sign any established stars, but have been snapping up young hungry players who have great resell value. My team is built around Will Hughes and Nathan Redmond, as well as other young guns. Beginning to slowly build a dynasty.
  11. Reports from holland that Royston Drenthe is signing for Reading on a 3 year deal. Apparently been brilliant in Russia this season, calmed down and changed his attitude. Exciting championship signing
  12. I'm quite confident out of all the three teams relegated, Reading will finish in the highest position.
  13. Even though we got annihilated in the prem this season, partly due to the naivety of our tactics, if we keep this squad together, along with Wayne Bridge + other signings, we will dominate this league. The final 6/7 games with Adkins in charge we looked a different team, and with a summer of pre season to adapt further to his style of play will help. Having a Midfield consisting of Kebe, Hal Robson Kanu, Guthrie, Karacan and Carrico is very strong for the Championship.
  14. Happy with Wayne Bridge, looked to be back to enjoying football again and the Brighton fans all raved about his loan spell there last season. Good Championship signing.
  15. Sky Sports have just reported Suarez has just confirmed he wants to leave Liverpool.

  17. I'd take Defoe, Agbonglahor, Carroll and Sturridge before i chose Welbeck. They each offer something different, something I don't see in Welbeck.
  18. Danny Welbeck is painfully average. I mean in a sense that he plays for United, His Country and in the Premier League, he obviously isn't. But he is nowhere near the calibre of a Striker an England National Team should be banking on.
  19. As a Reading fan i'd disagree, it was only really when Kevin Doyle left and we had to give him a run in the first team because we had no one else didn't he really step up. He looked largely unfit for a few seasons and nothing was clicking. 2 seasons ago when we charged into the play off's he was fantastic though. Seems to have matured and adapted to the Premier League well.
  20. Great guy, hard not to like him, seems like a nice chap. Good luck to him.
  21. I went down to the friendly in the summer in Bournemouth, lovely little day out, so i'm glad Bournemouth have gone up, would like Brentford to go up too as Reading have had some decent matches with them in the past and its another easy to get to game.
  22. Yep, as a Reading fan it is a pretty souless place. Shame, as its pretty comfortable viewing experience, probably why its so souless, everythings just too pleasant and inoffensive
  23. Saw Death Grips last week, a decent if not unspectacular performance.
