      So...toes not broken but it is fractured. He said I should tape it to the other toe for some extra support. I don't have medical tape on hand..duct tape it is!

      Don't use a rubber band. You need blood flow to help it heal. Well that and to stop it dying and falling off. I don't know if duct tape will stay on with sweat in a sock. A bandaid or two bandaids stuck together might work it the duct tape doesn't just use the tape from your works first aide kit if you know where it is/they have one.
