  1. They can be beaten, from experience of taking 6 off them this season.
  2. He's been pretty solid this season, IMO. I was impressed from the start. People seem to be blaming Campbell for making him seem better though.
  3. So who has their tickets for a Beckham game later this year?
  4. Fucking awesome first show, love Turtle getting the party sponsered. I am looking forward to this bigtime.
  5. I didn't say Americans couldn't be knowledgeable about football. edit: but Americans learning football from Americans = whoops.
  6. Okay, a few notes about that match: 1. Guatemala came out looking to play rough. My friend counted six separate occasions when a red card would not have been an overreaction, and yet no fouls were given (in one case, the foul was given against the US player being kicked!). For the record, the referee was from Mexico. 2. The US was playing a very young lineup, featuring six guys who had only a handful of caps. DeMerit, Bradley, and Spector all played decently, and the US had a slew of chances that a more experienced team (such as the one for the Gold Cup) would finish. Keller was practically wasted in goal -- he did a lot of nothing all day. 3. In addition to being rough-housing, Guatemala played negatively. Ruiz was booed off the field by the Dallas fans... and he plays for Dallas at the club level! Guatemala decided to beat up the US and hold out for a draw. They did. Stupid ref. This is why I love American fans, always got an excuse. (Y) Or three.

  8. How close was Rooney to actually getting sent off? I heard he was acting like an idiot all game, getting into it with that defender.
  9. Great fight back by them for sure, but they didn't call the foul at the end of the game on Ohio State that they called on Tennessee at the end of the first half. That being said, maybe Ohio State deserved the win more on the basis that they just dominated the second half.
  10. I watched tonight's episode, it was pretty good from first glance, didn't really understand what was going on but it was definitely enjoyable.
  11. The line judge who did the Blackburn/West Ham game? Some stunning decisions towards the end of that game, though I have to say the Tevez penalty was justified.
  12. Was a penalty, but I am sick to death of Ronaldo going down so easily. I mean for Christ's sake, his almost drug his leg back to the 18 to get that penalty.
  13. 119, 11/12 on logic, math, and perception, shite on the others though I missed at least 4 where I immediately recognized that I had made a mistake. *EDIT* How in the hell did Kou get 137? Literally the only possibility that gave that was if you were a 35-54 year old male who scored a raw 56 correct out of 60.
  14. I've got to say I'm quite a fan of the Scotish kits, the Reading away, and especially the Palermo away which I think is brilliant.
  15. Can I get the stripey thing in the home kit changed and then maybe take some liberties and cook me up a third kit? Thanks Kobra, I know I'm being a pain in the ass.
  16. Sucks that Wisconsin lost, but losing your biggest defensive threat and not to mention likely the second best player on the team right before the conference tournament is a tough thing to suffer through so it's not entirely surprising.
