  1. Greatest night of regular season baseball ever. Ever. You know, you just know that the Sox got to the locker room and got the TV on just in time to see Longo go yard and crush their souls. Awesome. Now it's time for the Tigers to take it to the Yankees. Here we go.
  2. Man it felt good to watch the Tigers clinch that division tonight. Didn't expect this soon, but it's an awesome feeling.
  3. Agree completely about Heroes. Mohinder's super powers is when I stopped watching. The one that jumps out to me is Prison Break. Loves seasons one and two. But when they got thrown back into jail in a latin american country I can't remember now, I realized it was no longer going to be entertaining. In fairness the show should never have tried for more than two seasons anyway.
  4. Does it debut tomorrow?! I thought it was still another week away.
  5. It depends how long she has been a Pats fan for and also why she is one. If her family has always been a Pats fan, its understandable, especially since Carolina has only been around for about 15 years now. I also don't think Romo has a lack of talent. The guy is a talented QB. He just makes to many mental mistakes and doesn't seem to have a drive and passion for success.
  6. I'm down by 4 to Jay and I have Darren McFadden tonight, he has Rob Gronkowski and Oakland's DEF, it's going to be a close one. Chimon DMC.
  7. The Lions won, woo hoo! And they looked far better than the score even indicates. They took their foot off the gas in the second half which was a mistake. I realize I am a little late to the party, but to weigh in on the Cam Newton topic; I was a skeptic, but I can't deny that he looked good today. What was impressive is that he wasn't jump dumping the ball off and running screens to pad his numbers like a lot of rookies are forced to do. He was stretching the field and doing it effectively hitting Steve Smith for long gains multiple times. I'm still a little bit skeptic, but I'm definitely less so after today. Three of his next four games come against Green Bay, Chicago and New Orleans, so we should get an idea of what he has rather quickly.
  8. What a game. Didn't do a lot to boost my confidence in Michigan overall, but that was a great win. Denard won't ever be a drop back passer in the NFL, but the dude can play football and he can throw the ball enough to get it done. Sweet victory.
  9. Realized it's been a while since I have posted in here, finished up Guatemala and Exile Island now. Thoughts on Guatemala: Thoughts on Exile Island: I am on to Cook Islands and on the second episode, the cast seems pretty strong and I don't know how long it lasts, but I enjoy the racial divide twist. It's a very interesting social dynamic I think and it's been interesting to watch early on. This is my first experience with an Ozzy season, so I am looking forward to getting through this one at least before the new season starts.
  10. I think Condit's overall skill set is going to pose more of a threat than Diaz would of and more of a threat than Koscheck or Shields have in the past couple fights. He seems to have really elevated his game, even beyond his WEC days. Dana is hinting at a big fight for BJ that he is trying to get done. Something that'll make fans "flip-out" according to him. Looking at the welterweight contenders I don't see an open guy who paired against BJ would make me flip. There's always the chance he drops to 155 for a big time fight, but it'd have to be something really big like Gilbert Melendez to get BJ to drop I think.
  11. It'll either be midnight EST or sometime early in the morning Jay.
  12. No you can't see it Sahyder. I think there is a way to set it as viewable to the Public, the B League should be set up that way.
  13. I don't believe it will. I think you have to do that yourself, hopefully everyone that took the time to do the draft will at least take the time to do that much though.
  14. Gabbert isn't gonna be the starter I guess, but rather Luke McCown. I think the Jags made a mistake here. They were nearly a playoff team last year, and while they got a little lucky, it could be a wide open division with this Peyton Manning stuff. Garrard was average, but he had a 91 QB rating and didn't make many mistakes. Going with McCown feels like them waving the white flag to save some cash. Glad I'm not a fan of the Jags.
  15. Yeah, I put one Kicker on my waiver list. If I don't get him than I will just drop someone I do get and pick up whoever is left. It really isn't going to make a big difference.
  16. I wish all the people in my league hadn't already taken their kickers before round 11 so I could've done that .
  17. To finish out the round... Munky selects Darren Sproles, RB - New Orleans Saints Berober selects Danny Woodhead, RB - New England Patriots All players have now been entered into Yahoo and you should be able to go to your team page and find your players. Everyone should have 5 spots open on your team still. The way we fill these spots is through the waiver wire system. All undrafted players are free agents. Go to the players section and start adding the guys you want. You can make claims on as many guys as you'd like, but you will only get five of them and you will get them based on the way you order your claims. Since it would techinically be Berober's pick he has highest priority. So if you try claiming the guy who Berober has as his number one player, you won't get him. Munky has second priority and on down the line we go. Waivers clear on Thursday morning and at that time you should see who you got and who you didn't get. If you still have open spots left everyone else should be a regular free agent at that time and you are welcome to just add however many players you need to fill your roster. Make sure you check your team on Thursday Morning and get your lineup filled and set for week 1. The first game of the season is on Thursday Night and it is the Packers and Saints. Feel free to ask any questions here and let's try and have some fun. And not be idiots.
  18. I wanna finish this round up guys. Berober send me who you want even if Munky hasn't posted so I can give you who you want. If no one else picks by 9 I'll make both picks myself.
  19. If everyone wants to send me a list, which you won't cause most haven't, I'll autopick as much as I can before entering results. But I have to enter results tomorrow night in order to give time for waivers before Thursday. Draft end tomorrow at 9 PM est. I'm picking Ryan Torrain, RB - Washington Redskins
  20. Were going to be drafting through tomorrow night at 9 PM EST. At that time I will auto-draft the remainder of the current round and than we'll fill our teams through free agency. I will set waivers so that whoever would be picking next will have first priority for free agents, assuming I can do that.
  21. DYSI is going to be taking Steve Smith, WR - Carolina Panthers.
  22. Also if your getting ESPN to watch sports, you'll naturall gravitate to certain teams, becaus e certain teams will be on more than others.
  23. That is a very apt description of being a Lions fan. I'll be honest though, this is the first year in a long time I have had real genuine hope. And even with that I'm hopeful for 8 wins, not a super bowl or anything.
  24. Universal is taking James Starks, RB - Green Bay Packers
