Silk Sonic (Bruno Mars + Anderson.Paak) album is a fun thirty minute throwback. 'Leave the Door Open' is gonna remain one of the singles of the year. IDLES' Crawler doesn't quite hit the heights of Brutalism or Joy... but it's much better than Ultra Mono and the hints at what they're gonna become as a band seems promising.

Two songs that have really caught my attention lately is My Love's by Water From Your Eyes because of it's interesting production where an almost jackhammer-like synth is mixed with really delicate strings and static drums - and the other is Parquet Court's Marathon of Anger which sounds like a protesting David Byrne.

Yeah, that's what I fear. There's no incentive setting your formation to shut up shop or nick a goal on the counter-attack as usually you're 3-0 down inside twenty minutes.
