I've been playing some old games with my mates recently (Rampage World Tour, Smash TV, Streets of Rage, Double Dragon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles etc) and it occured to me that these old skool games are just so much more fun than most of the stuff that is released nowadays. At first I thought it was just my nostalgia blurring everything, but I really don't think it is. The last game I played on a current platform that has amused me in the same way is probably either Super Monkey Ball 2, Mario Kart or Warioware. It's not to say that I don't like the new games, but they just seem to lack something. It's great fun playing PES4, Tekken or anything else like that, but there just seems to be less enjoyment. I am pretty sure that it isn't because I am 21 now and I am outgrowing them because I still play often. This is just a bit of a ramble, but does anyone else feel the same? PS, Oh I know Old Skool means pre-NES, but I am not THAT old skool. Old Skool for me is NES, SNES, Master System, MegaDrive etc

You seriously didn't know about that? That was one of the first things I thought of doing. And you can have last man standing matches as well. Just set the rules to no pin fall, no ko's, no submissions, no dq, no rope break and just a ten count. You gotta knock out your opponent and leave him outside for a 10 count. And a move that me and my mate came up with was putting an opponent on top of your shoulders ala LOD, but on the outside, then do a running dive or tope over the rope

The best ever time I have taunted was against a mate. He had this kinda drop to your knees and shuffle sideways and do the hogan listening to the crowd pose, and he tried to spear me during a match and I stole his taunt by wiggling the C-stick and I did the shuffle taunt and sidestepped his spear. That felt fantastic

I don't like to taunt until I get to special. Or if there is a need to taunt, like you have just done something AMAZING and you need to show off. To the computer.

It sounds sad but this is the sole reason I went out and bought a DS. I wanted to play with the cute ickle doggies ^_^

I would say that Group G is just as close.

Memorable? I thought it was one of the most boring matches I have seen for a while. I was expecting a lot because of how it started then it just got slow paced and boring.

I've only ever been to one away game and it was a friendly, so that doesnt really count But this season I am gonna go away at Barnet and perhaps Carlisle, just because it is our longest away game.

There is nothing wrong with seeing some good chunky footballers in the premiership. Now we just need some more facial hair and I will be happy.

My favourite thing about the game yesterday was when the Aussies thought they bolwed out Vaughn (I think) but it was a no ball and the commentator said "Oh, bad luck you Aussies, it couldn't have happened to a nicer people".
