  1. Ugh, tough call again. Bet 1 - 15 on Blackburn. Bet 4 - 5 on that. Doubler: Villa 2-0 Bolton
  2. Are you sure it was an optional goal? Sometimes when the superstars announce their plans before you start the match, it ends up being a mandatory goal, kind of like: SHAWN MICHAELS RTWM SPOILERS Keeping myself in check this time. Hmm... I'm not sure, it definitely listed it on the left as it was loading the match, I think it said "optional goal" but I couldn't be absolutely certain.
  3. Brand Warfare John Cena week 3 (I think) question:
  4. Looks like a good logo pack here: http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/downloads.php?do=file&id=1136
  5. That's a good point. I'm looking through the DRM thread at SI Games and so far I've found someone asking: Answered with: So apparently it's not possible, but that doesn't really explain why. I'll read some more. Incidentally, did anyone activate through Steam? I wasn't going to bother and just have the disk in the drive, but then I read that if you do then you get access to the achievements (60 in total) and a Steam exclusive skin. So I think I might just do that.
  6. I'm not sure I follow you, but if you're asking what I think you are then no. As far as I know, a Steam account can only be logged into on one machine at one time and if your friend was logged into it to play FM at their end then it means you couldn't do so at your end. If you don't mind taking turns or will be playing it at different times (and obviously nothing else via Steam either) then I guess it might be possible but I've never tried such a thing. Being logged into Steam is basically the equivalent of having the disc in the drive, you could loan your friend the disc (the Steam account details) to play, but you couldn't both play at once. EDIT: Oh right, the reason I came in here. Just back from work, picked up the game on the way home. Would've bought it sooner, but PC World were sold out the Friday of release (at about 1pm, come on, how many copies did they order?), Monday and yesterday. Presumably they got some more in yesterday evening or this morning. Was actually gonna buy it on Steam but didn't have enough on my Paypal so now I've got a boxed copy for the same price. Not sure how much time I'll have to play it, but I'm more than happy to buy it to support SI and Sega and encourage them to keep developing/publishing the game.
  7. I got that too, except it was a swinging neckbreaker. I thought Lawler was cracking up. Although I think mentioning Snitsky takes the biscuit so far.
  8. FM would be linked to your Steam account, so you can play it on any computer you like that has Steam on it (you'll have to download the FM files on the new machine obviously). Not sure how save games work, presumably you'd have to transfer them across machines somehow, I don't think they're stored centrally anywhere.
  9. Well, it had to go sometime. It was a bad week for me when Graham fucking Alexander is my top earner.
  10. Good grief. Is she going swimming or something?
  11. Wow, bizarro world in the Premier League today. So many red cards, Hull had a decent goal disallowed apparently, Liverpool humped by Fulham and Portsmouth score 4 goals against Wigan?! In other news, my betting sucks ass.
  12. 2 doubles: Stoke and Sunderland Burnley and Wigan and Paddy Power's website was ripping the piss out of Zamora for that miss in the last game and jokingly suggested you back him at 9/1 to score first against Liverpool. Well, I hope a lot of people took them up on that.
  13. It's still a spoiler though I'd say, just not as blatantly obvious as TenaciousG's detailed look into Mickie's story (which I managed to stop reading when I realised). I'm fine with it, but I can see how people would class it as one. Started the Brand Warfare one, but then realised I have no motivation to play as either Cena or Triple H. So I think I'm gonna try a different one.
  14. Awesome. What's the relegation zone in this division anyway?
  15. I'd be here a while naming all my favourites, but recently it's been Peep Show and The Inbetweeners, two right at the top of my all-time list. Probably because they're so realistically written that they remind me of my own shit life, both now and back at school. But off the top of my head - Fawlty Towers, Friends, Futurama, The Office (original) and American Dad, and Family Guy has its moments too.
  16. The Hills. I mean... just... WHY?!
  17. Did you prebook or just buy the tickets there and then? My nearest cinema are showing it a helluva lot and I can't imagine they'd have sold all the tickets in advance.
  18. Hull have issued a statement saying it's utter bollocks. Shocker. And Andy Burton is a bit of a twat. Although the Scottish guy who's the chief football or transfer reporter or whatever just comes across as a total posh, up-himself arsehole. Bryan Swanson, that's it, he's literally just been on as I type this.
  19. Yeah, but is it only one segment per Smackdown or do/can you have multiple?
  20. But for the storyline you only create the scenes/matches with the playable wrestler in it don't you? So there'd be other stuff happening on Raw, but in terms of your wrestler it would just be a contract signing one week, then a match at the PPV, then a rematch on Raw etc. which would only be 3 segments. I think that's how it works, as I say I only had a quick play about with it last night.
  21. Interesting match for me - highest scorer versus the least conceded.
  22. Just dabbled in the storyline creator and my word there's a lot of potential there. Great addition. Was just pissing around with it for 10 minutes and made a scene where the opening shot is Todd Grisham's ass with Michelle McCool's music playing in the background. But did I read it right that you can have up to 500 scenes/matches in total? That's crazy, that's years worth of Raw's and PPVs if I've got that right.
